Cloudy golden pour with a very thin white head. Coriander, banana, light spice and bisquit aroma. Surprisingly spicy and peppery taste, light citrus. Definitely ginger towards the middle. Finish is more ginger, slightly bitter, some wheat/yeast. This beer has a lot of character, I’m surprised it’s rated so low.

Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a cloudy medium golden color with a very large yellow-white head. The aroma was sweet tangy citrus and peppery hops. The flavor was tart, tangy citrus, moderately fruity hops and hints of wheat. The finish was long and lemony.

Aroma of wheat bread, lemon, and other things. Slightly hazy brassy gold color with a white head that filmed quickly. Thin bodied. Spritzy carbonation. Very light everything: wheat, lemon, coriander, citrus oil, bitter. It’s clean and crisp, and the finish really seems to be ginger rather than hop bitter.

Nose of dough, spice & wheat. I don’t know what this smells like, but I fuckin’ like it! Oh, the label reads ginger and coriander. Hmmm. Anyway, the brew pours a blonde honey amber. The tall mostly diminishing sticky white head leaves light lace. High acidity provides zing. The brew is subtley complex, and layered with spice. Very, very good and refreshing. The medium creamy body is fizzy, and the finish feels dry. I don’t know that I’ve had a better american wheat.

Bottled. Poured a hazy orangey-golden with a dusting of white head and large bubbles sticking to the sides of the glass. Aroma was of sweet bananas and candy with soft spices.. orange peel and coriander come to mind.. decent, but uninteresting. Flavor had a sweet base, with more spicage going on than the nose.. had a bit of a saison-ey kick with peppery spices.. light fruits and biscuits support the middle.. tasty. Mild tartness throughout with an enjoyable and refreshing spicy kick on the back-end. Good stuff!

22 oz. bottle. Nearly amber color under a rocky weizen head. Some skunk when opened, then smell settles to a soft wheat ale. No hefe esters from Rogue’s Pacman yeast, of course, just an American wheat with a tip towrd extra biscuit malt, bubble texture. Mild German hops. Cannot find the added spices, just mellow wheat malt spiciness.

650ml Bottle: Aroma of pepper and saaz hops. Pretty faint scent. Poured golden orange in color with a medium-sized white head that mostly diminished. Very cloudy. Lots of particles and some sediment. Opaque. Taste is a little sweet and a little sour. Tastes lemony, with a hint of hops. Tastes of soap. I can’t taste the coriander or ginger they claim is in this beer. Light body. Thin, watery texture. Soft carbonation. Sour, lemony finish is a bit astringent. Overall, very disappointing.

Cloudy orange, big bubbles. A lot more hops in the aroma and much less wheat. Maybe some citrus and a bit of malt. Flavor is also closer to a pale ale, not much wheaty-ness (is that why it’s only half a weizen?). A bit thin but oily with a decent bittersweet finish.
