The coriander seems too pronounced. I would like if they cut out the ginger. The aftertaste lingers. Illini08 (528), Raleigh, North Carolina, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 14, 2006 22 oz. bomber. Honey yellow pour, no head retention. Aroma sucks, slightly citrusy and a bit of wheat, but very, very subdued and no real estery aromas that you expect from a good wheat. Soft wheat and banana flavor, easy drinking. Dry, very slightly hoppy finish. This does not deserve to be in the 90th percentile for American Wheats or for anything for that matter. It’s not horrible, it’s just not that good. pinkzambia (989), Boise, Idaho, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 3, 2006 Bottle: Murky gold color with a small white head. The aroma is full of soft wheat notes and perhaps mild pickles? I also notice far off hints of cardboard. The taste is kind of soapy, but also has floral and mild yeast flavors as well. The finish is interesting, kind of leaving a thick watery feel in your mouth. The aftertaste is not that pleasant to me, but perhaps to American wheat lovers it is. This is one of 3 or 4 beers that Rogue makes that I don’t really like. tennisjoel (938), Shakopee, Minnesota, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Nov 1, 2006 Golden colored pour. Lemon grass scented. Flavor is kind of dull and thinner than I expected given the style percent score. I actually detected some mint? and pine while tasting this, kind of odd. Easy drinking but not really my cup of tea. IMO there are better American Wheats out there, but each to their own. NachlamSie (1637), Tennessee, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 19, 2006 Draught. Pours pretty hazy with a light gold shade. The aroma is very floral and vinous with mild musty scents. The floral qualities come to full head on the palate. I found it to be rich of hibiscus and herbs and quite drying with notes of apple peels and a tame papery hop profile. Not the best Rogue offering, but definitely unique. loseratheart (110), USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 17, 2006 A cloudy orange, tangerine look. Corriander, orange nose. A nice mix of wheat, lemon, and spice. Not one of my favorite Rogues but still good.
