adamnfineman (53), Springfield, Oregon, USA Aug 24, 2006 Bottle. A nice cloudy hef with a light, wheaty finish. Not my favorite Rogue beer, but a nice addition to the collection. unclemattie (2370), Georgia, USA Aug 12, 2006 Had this beer on tap at the Public House and at Brewer’s on the Bay, Newport. Lightly colored yellow ale. Not very hazy, guess that’s why its HALF, without the yeast sediment. very refreshing beer. Good whay to start the day on an Oregon Beer Tour on the coast! bethmatt0421 (317), Covington, Kentucky, USA Aug 12, 2006 Updated: Aug 14, 2006Hazy gold in color with a laced white head. Aroma is dull fruits. Flavor is wheat, and something like those fruit shaped candies you can get in the gumball machines for 50 cents. Strange sweetness. I think thats what they meant by the ’belgium style’. But definitely enjoyable. Rogue always impresses me, and on this one, they surprised. but like most beers with ’American’ in front of the beer type, it turns out to be average. Recommended, nevertheless. Emil (6075), Copenhagen, Denmark Aug 10, 2006 Bottle. Light hazy golden colour with a medium white head. Light grassy, spicy, light caramel, peppermint aroma and taste. Medium body with a dry finish. Strange. Ungstrup (14760), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 9, 2006 A hazy orange beer with an OK lazing off-white head. The aroma is weirdly spicy combined with artificial notes of peaches - far from what I expected - and not really me. The flavor is malty with notes of artificial fruits at first, before a dry bitter and wheaty end sets in. And the body is thin. Not really my cup of beer. joergen (8430), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 9, 2006 Bottle.
Cloudy golden coloured with a white head.
Sweet aroma of caramel and spices.
Flavour of caramel and spices with notes of hops. beergut111 (210), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Aug 8, 2006 Not bad. I found it a little bit dissapointing because I usually love rogue beers. It was nice and refreshing, I was just expecting more. GeneralGao (3051), Iowa City, Iowa, USA Jul 22, 2006 Updated: Jul 23, 2006Draught at Rogue Ales Public House in San Francisco. Hazy yellow color with white head that left a bit of lace. Not much nose other than light grains. Flavor was also somewhat drab with only a bit of doughy bread. Overall disappointing for this brewer.
