wintersdying (49), Louisville, Kentucky, USA Feb 21, 2006 poured a cloudy golden, with minimal head. aromas of spice, coriander and some hnts of malt. suprisingly bitter for a wheat - likely due to the saaz hops used in the brew. one of the better wheats i’ve had, largely due to the balance of wheat and the bitterness of the hops. hopdog (5525), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Feb 17, 2006 22oz bottle. Poured a medium and slightly hazy golden color with a smaller sized white head. Aromas of cloves, bananas, and citrus (oranges). Tastes of pretty much the same with some lemons. omhper (12153), Stockholm, Sweden Feb 13, 2006 Bottled (labelled "Mo Ale", vintage bottle from Stuffed Sandwich). Hazy golden with medium sized creamy head. Papery malt aroma. Sweet and soft, mildly malty and lightly fruity. There’s notes of toffee and evident signs of graceful aging. zach8270 (2051), Henrietta, New York, USA Feb 12, 2006 (bottle - 22 oz) Nice amber pour with a medium white head. Not very cloudy, then again there was a ton of sediment in the bottle. Aroma is very pleasant and sweet. Lots of orange, coriander and some cloves. One of the best smelling wheat beers I’ve ever had. Flavor is dry and grainy, like most other American wheats, with some of that delicious flavor of orange and coriander. A little too dry and grainy though. Finish is a bit bitter. Tmoney99 (4652), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Jan 28, 2006 Bottle. Poured deep amber with an average rocky white head that diminished slowly and produced good lacing. Good sweet fruit and spice aroma. Light to medium body. Moderate sweet citrus and spicy flavor with a smooth medium finish. Dorwart (1807), Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA Jan 22, 2006 Decent sized head of pretty large bubbles. Light carbonation. Light malty aroma with a little bit of citrus. Dark gold in color. Soft mouthfeel. Little dryness and bitterness. Malty flavor with only a little yeast and grass. Actually pretty pronounced hops and bitterness at the tail end of the swallow. Citrus and flowers. Pretty good american wheat beer. jmuhops (663), Winchester, Virginia, USA Jan 16, 2006 Pours dark gold with a large head and lots of effervescence. Wheat bread aroma, with some citrus, and a light whiff of pepper. Sweet, citrusy flavor with some wheat and a light American hop finish. Thicker than I expected. Not bad for an American Wheat. bigrond (1043), factoryville, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 1, 2006 this was very average - nothing really stood out and I was not impressed even slightly. I’d skip this brew if offered it again.
