kyzr (1119), Belgrade, Montana, USA Aug 16, 2005 Pours bright yellow with white head. Nose of yeast. Strong hints of lemon, with a light bitter finish. pobenohne (504), Northern Liberties, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 15, 2005 Big bottle, big disappointment. Half budweiser and half hefeweizen perhaps? dwyerpg (2519), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Aug 11, 2005 It may be that I got a bad bottle, but this was definitely terrible. In fact, everyone in my household tasted this and they all agreed. It took five of us to drink most of it. I think they made this buy brewing a really bad wheat beer and than adding it to water for the other half. Lou18 (1353), West Paterson, New Jersey, USA Aug 11, 2005 Poured a hazy yellow, smelled like yeast. A amount of lemon and clove on the taste. Very bitter on the finish. spkldhenlvr24 (446), Newburgh/Buffalo, New York, USA Aug 10, 2005 Pours a cloudy yellow, cloudy body with a nice creamy white head. Good spicy, grassy aroma. Flavor doesn’t really match up to the aroma. Some decent lemon, clove flavor. Mild ovverall. A little too bitter for me, but still pretty enjoyable. TipsyMcStager (900), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Aug 5, 2005 light orangy aroma. Pours a cloudy yellow, thin white head. Light tasting and suprisingly hoppy. Light body. RateandPillage (417), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Jul 30, 2005 In my limited Japanese; Nan desu ka? (what is it?). It says that it is unfiltered, but it is the clearest of the beers I tried here. I get almost no wheat character in the aroma or flavor. Classified as an American Wheat, it may be somewhat close to style, but I thought the combination of Barley and Wheat was pretty bad. Kind of an identity crisis going on here (wants to be an American Wheat, Belgian Wit, NW Belgian Pale, etc.). argo0 (6861), Washington DC, USA Jul 25, 2005 (draft) Clear apple juice body with a white head. Aroma is medium sweet, orange, coriander. Taste is mild sweet, orange, coriander, lemon peel, some herbal bitterness. Light body.
