| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 4, 2009 On tap at Raleigh WBF. Pours a clear bright yellow with a thin white cap. Aroma of pine, coriander, juniper berries, ginger along with lemongrass. Good lacing. Taste is light-bodied and overly-carbonated but coriander, lemon zest, and orange peel show through. Refreshing and an interesting approach to the style. CharlesDarwin (1835), Point Judith, Rhode Island, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 18, 2009 On tap at the brewery. Seltzery bit of brine and wheat aroma. Pours a lightly hazed golden and a frothy head in clean white. Flavor is acerbic and lemony. Tart. Little clove or banana. A little coarse and biting. Not the refreshing brightness I’d like or the depth of the wheat. Pacman performing poorly.

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 16, 2009 Golden colored pour. Lemon grass scented. Flavor is kind of dull and thinner than I expected given the style percent score. I actually detected some mint? and pine while tasting this, kind of odd. Easy drinking but not really my cup of tea. IMO there are better American Wheats out there, but each to their own.

Weak flavor of wheat and juniper berries. I bought this bottle to share with some friends but got stuck drinking the whole thing by myself which was not a good thing by any means. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 22, 2009 Bomber. Pours a pale golden with a small white head that quickly diminshes to nothing. The aroma is a sweet fruit malt with orange peel and lemon zest. Decent spotty lacing on the glass. The taste is grain and hop with a nice spicy finish. Easy to drink, a decent wheat ale from Rogue.
