bluevegie (2169), Perth, Australia Jan 8, 2009 Slight haze on a light golden body, mainly lasting head. Only just notice the ginger at the end of the taste and only slightly the coriander moreso. Cant drink too many wheat beers together but this one I could. KimJohansen (6678), Copenhagen V, Denmark Dec 31, 2008 Cloudy golden with a medium white head. Sweet aroma with malty notes. Watery flavour with hints of wheat. Boring stuff. after4ever (2711), Brier, Washington, USA Dec 12, 2008 22. Pours slightly hazy light amber with a towering white head that really sticks around. Spicy, dirty, skunky nose. Not sure if the hops went crazy, or the spices, or the both together, or what, but the bottle is brown glass. Mild, watery body. Wheaty, slightly wheat-sweaty/sour, slightly spicy mid-palate. Mild nutty finish. Not much happening in the way of either flavor or refreshment. alexanderj (2213), Chino Hills, California, USA Dec 7, 2008 Bottle. Poured a dull gold with a medium, fleeting white head. Aroma of coriander, wheat, lemon, and I guess ginger. Palate was not great, as it was both thin and a bit too carbonated. Flavor was average for a style that I am not overly fond of. Wheat and coriander/spice predominate. Seems that its a bit between two styles. Expected a bit more. BrownDogBeer (50), Portland, Oregon, USA Dec 6, 2008 20 oz bottle. Pours a cloudy golden color. aroma of citrus and wheat with a little sweetnes. medium light body. Overall dry and medium bitter. very carbonated. gam (1068), brisbane, Australia Dec 6, 2008 Good frothy head, mild carbonation, straw coloured weizen.Aroma ginger, lemon, malt, wheat, not over strong but perfumed like, flavour, hops, malty, smooth wheat taste with the malt, spicy with the coriander and ginger mix, also gives it a fruity like taste. Not a strong tasting beer, but plesant finish, fruity, malty, bitter. GreatLibations (1440), Last Supper, Arizona, USA Nov 30, 2008 I really liked this brew complete with a superb head, spicy aroma, and a full, round texture that offers all the malty goodness I come to expect from a witbier. It’s not overly medicinal being more crisp and clean. No banana gum here just a solid example of a Belgian Wit. Wait, it’s labeled as a wheat ale. This is totally Wit. branspra (204), Arlington, Virginia, USA Nov 30, 2008 Bottle. Pours a large, white head with fair lacing and a hazy, light orange body. Aromas of orange, lemon, lime, pear, and tea. Thin texture with lively carbonation, short duration and no acidic taste. Disappointment as no flavor or texture for this beer.
