Straw/yellow/gold pour, some head, dissipating. Predictable wheat yeast aroma, but a touch of lemon zest. Flavor adds more citrus and a touch of carrot and light light rye in the wheat. Palate is perfectly balanced for this style and my mouth and this sunny evening. Finishes wheaty and a bit thick, but cleans itself up and leaves no hop bitterness.

Nov 30, 2008 I really liked this brew complete with a superb head, spicy aroma, and a full, round texture that offers all the malty goodness I come to expect from a witbier. It’s not overly medicinal being more crisp and clean. No banana gum here just a solid example of a Belgian Wit. Wait, it’s labeled as a wheat ale. This is totally Wit.

Nov 30, 2008 Bottle. Pours a large, white head with fair lacing and a hazy, light orange body. Aromas of orange, lemon, lime, pear, and tea. Thin texture with lively carbonation, short duration and no acidic taste. Disappointment as no flavor or texture for this beer.

Nov 27, 2008 Cloudy pale yelllow in appearance. Light aroma of wheat, citrus and ginger. Similar taste. Light body. Did not care for the citrus and ginger combination. Thought I would really enjoy this beer but I was disappointed.
