Smells of wheat malt and has a light sour tang, spice additions are even fainter. Medium body is soft and lightly chalky. Mineral water taste. Lightly bitter, pronounced grass and floral tones, a little unwelcome sourness in with the mild citrus. Can’t taste the ginger, but there is a sort of bite at the bottom. Definitely enjoyed this, but I wouldn’t have nailed this as a Hefeweizen. whaleman (2171), North Wales, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 14, 2006 Moderately hazy, dark straw body with abundant carbonation and a long-lasting, thick, foamy white head. Mild aroma of spicy Saaz, coriander, Alka Seltzer, dough, and oranges. Malty flavor of lightly toasted wheat, mild clove-like phenols, yeast, faint honey tones and ginger. Some noticeable alcohol and a chlorophenolic note. Low acidity, medium dryness, and moderate bitterness. Subdued in character and drinkable, but uninteresting overall.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 10, 2004 Pours cloudy yellow-orange with a medium off-white head. Wheaty, estery aroma. The flavor is in essence an American Wheat (tangy wheat malt dominates) with light hops bitterness. Small sips reveal ginger which tends to be hidden by the other elements in bigger sips. The yeast didn’t do anything too interesting here- could be a bit more estery. zach8270 (2150), Henrietta, New York, USA

Not very cloudy, then again there was a ton of sediment in the bottle. Aroma is very pleasant and sweet. Lots of orange, coriander and some cloves. One of the best smelling wheat beers I’ve ever had. Flavor is dry and grainy, like most other American wheats, with some of that delicious flavor of orange and coriander. A little too dry and grainy though. Finish is a bit bitter. mds (2112), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
