Very spicy aroma, pepper, coriander, orange. This beer is overall very much like a Belgian white, with a bit more hops, but it strikes a decent balance. Far more exciting than your average American wheat, this beer breathes life into the style, whatever style it might actually be (don’t let the label get you thinking this is a hefeweizen). Fairly sweet at times, vanilla, with hints of lemon, crackers, smooth carbonation, sticky finish. Light and refreshing. BennyTicklez (621), USA

Aroma and taste somewhat resmeble Rogue’s Oregon Golden, but with less hops. Very drinkable beer. Wheat taste with tiny amounts of spice. Great beer for the style. satan165 (620), River Grove, Illinois, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 20, 2008 not sure what makes this ’the belgian style’. corainder and ginger? at any rate, spice notes are minimum and wheat characteristics are almost non-existant. citrusy saaz are at the forefront which is almost always toleralble at minimum; its the saving grace here. aroma is non-existant....and a nice belgian or weizen should definately present more in that department. still, refreshing is a fair adjective, but still disappointing for rogue. dirkules (613), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

It wasn’t listed available but with the wheat and saaz and spice flavours it became an immediate fave. Delicious wheat beer. A beautiful hazy gold with a dopple of dark brown yeast on the bottom. | 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | Jun 12, 2004 The single WORST hefeweizen I’ve ever had. Was a step above icehouse beer. Watery and tasteless. It is rare that I’m inclined to ask for my money back, but I came very close after tasting this disaster. Rogue should stick to what it knows, stouts. joebrew (608), Farewell Minny; Hello Puyallup, Washington, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 1, 2007 Pours a hazy light golden orange. Nice cirtusy banana nose with hints of some candy like sweetness. Flavor is kind of watery, and lacks a real depth. Decent Hefe, but nothing to write home about. You can taste a little ginger for sure. Nothing really special but nothing rancid. craftycarl21 (601), South Hero, Vermont, USA
