Bright golden with a frothy white head. Citrusy hops in the nose, sweet malt - fresh, hint of mint - no hints of wheat. The body is semi sweet with a malty front. Nice citrusy hops - not too big, splash of ginger, finishes somewhat quickly. Doesn’t seem to have many wheat characteristics. Seems to be more of an American Pale Ale.

A bit too hoppy and -dare I say it- sour for my taste, but nice to look at and tasty as it hits the tongue. ’Spose I should give the brewer’s other products a chance, though.

Gold, puffy head. Loads of clove, very buttery. Spicy with mint/pine. Very fizzy.

More style points. Interesting combination of flavors. Spices like coriander, orange peel perhaps, and wheat. More like a belgian wit-pilsner.

Bottle from the <a href=http://www.lcbo.com target=blank>LCBO in Peterborough. Clear golden yellow in colour, thin oily dissipating white head, no lace. The aroma is yeasty, some bananas, spice, some sweetness. The flavour is yeasty, some peaches and bananas, small spice, wheaty, lightly bitter dry mouthfeel, medium body, medium/light carbonation. Finishes creamy, some sweetness.

Rogue Nation, San Francisco: Unfortunately, it looks like a urine sample with a thin white head. I say unfortunately, because this beer has a surprisingly pleasant aroma, not the typical mellow hefe scent. The tast can only be described as energetic. Nice balance of the Rogue Hops heavy beer with the smooth hefeweisen tast with hints of spicyness in there.

Hazy golden color, quickly diminishing white head. Citrus hop aroma. Sweet coriander, hop, ginger taste... rather straight forward. Weak mouthfeel.

Bottled at Monks Café, Stockholm. Pours out in a clear dark golden colour with a low creamy white foam. Aroma of hay, mandarin and biscuits. Medium-bodied bordering to light-bodied with notes of dried oranges, neutral yeast and minerals. Mild orangey finish of neutral yeast. Low bitterness.
