Commercial Description:
Dark brown in color with a hazelnut aroma, a rich nutty flavor and a smooth malty finish. Hazelnut Brown Nectar Ale is a blend of Great Western 2-row Pale, Munich, Hugh Baird Brown, Crystal 80 and Crystal 135, Carastan, and Beeston Pale Chocolate malts; hazelnut extract; Perle and Saaz hops.

I shared this bomber last night with MereLikesBeer, as part of our super bowl party. It poured a light brown with a tan head. I thought it was a pretty good beer. Cheers!

Aroma was hazelnut and some hops. Taste was brown sugar, hazelnut, toffee chocolate, vanilla, coffee with a bitter aftertaste. Very delicious. This was my second beer from Rogue after Dead Guy Ale which I was not a fan of. I’m looking forward to trying other beers by rogue in the near future after having this one.

pours a dark body with a very foamy head... made of chocolate malts, hazelnut flavor and bitter, but not bad, hops.

24 oz. bottle, pours a dark brown with a nice beige head. Aroma is hazelnut and roasted malts. Flavour is hazelnut, roasted malt and some caramel sweetness. A fine Rogue beer.

Refrigerated big bottle poured into a glass. Pours a medium brown with dark amber highlights. A little tan head the dissapates quickly. Taste is sweet malt, hazelnut, and some caramel. Very good. Warning is hazelnut is not flavor you like try something else.

Way nutty beer; nutty aroma, nutty flavr, nutty dude on the front. Some caramel taste as well. Quite delish.

Very nutty brown ale with a malty finish. If you don’t know what hazelnut tastes like before trying this beer, you will after. Pretty good.

Bottle from Utobeer. Hazy ruby copper with a creamy tan head. Sweetish, nuttuy caramel aroma, with noticeable hazelnut. Hazelnut flavours, semi-dry. Quite nice.
