BOLTZ7555 (1053), Phoenix, Arizona, USA Feb 1, 2008 Very solid, drinkable beer with nice walnut bown color and 3/4 inch khaki head. Both in the aroma and in the taste...hazelnut is definitely evident. Mouthfeel isn’t overly heavy and the flavor doesn’t stick to the palate. Extremely flavorful and undoubtedly something I’ll drink again. For those trying to convert the masses from the "World of the Macro" to something more refined, this would be a transitional beer they might be receptive to. Cheers!!! thill25 (216), Orlando, Florida, USA Jan 30, 2008 Tap..Poured a medium brown w/ slight head. Some coffee notes, but mainly dominated by the hazelnut and vanilla on both aroma and flavor. Descent palate / very smooth, but the more I drank the sweeter the beer tasted. StFun (535), Indiana, USA Jan 28, 2008 Very tasty beer. A great alternative to NewCraple when you can get it. Thick, but not overly so, nice even brown color with a tan frothy head. Very nice taste. I wouldn’t say "complex" but certainly not "simple". Taste is smooth, creamy, with a nice nut and malt flavor. My favorite Rogue thus far. LtJudge (431), Muskego, Wisconsin, USA Jan 27, 2008 Pours a light bworn color with a samll light tan head. Aromas of malt and hazelnut. Flavor is of hazelnut, caramel malt, vanilla and anf hint of hop. Nice smooth mouthfeel. I’m not a huge hazelnut fan, but I really like this brew! Rakluba (33), Cary, North Carolina, USA Jan 25, 2008 Damn i love the nutty flavor. There is some sort of frutiness to this beer also. Great thick mouthfeel. I liked this beer. troysworktable (109), Washington, USA Jan 22, 2008 2 ounce sample. Tasting at 99 BOTTLES. The color was a brilliant orange-brown. The nose was berries, sugar, nuts. The flavor moved from cream to chocolate to nut, with a spicy edge and flashes of raspberry. The mouthfeel was thick and creamy. It was beautiful, it smelled good, it tasted even better, and it engaged the entire mouth. Very good. moseslikesbeer (183), conestoga, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 21, 2008 drought. smelled great. very smooth with a tad bit of a burnt after taste but not over powering. afireinside96 (807), Mountville, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 21, 2008 draught. smooth and sweet. finishes with some espresso, mocha, and hazelnut. everything I wish Starbucks was.
