Jan 10, 2008 22oz bomber(10/07)-A medium brown body with a small head and an aroma of hazelnut, malt, and caramel. Taste of big time nuts followed by more nuts and a great malt finish. A nice tasting brew.

Jan 9, 2008 Tasted 1/5/08. 22oz bomber. Amber brown hue and apparently clear. Layer of off-white head. Tasted at almost room temperature. Total nutty nose! Toasty and spicy nose. Medium bodied with tight effervescence. Spicy nutty flavors. Touch toffee. Dry finish with a lingering subtle cocoa sweet note. Toffee and fudge. Nutty brownies. Roasted nuts. Malt dominant. Hops are bitter yet short lived. Tasty!

Jan 8, 2008 Pours a deep brown with a moderately thick light tan head. Aroma is very sweet and is pretty apparent about the hazelnut. Smells like a barista poured some syrup in my brew. Taste follows suit - very sweet syrupy hazelnut backed a basic brown ale malt base. Decent, but not really my thing.

Jan 8, 2008 Bottled. A hazy deep brown beer with a big and quite persistent creamy beige head. The aroma is roasty and nutty, enough malty, with some hoppy notes. I feel some toasted bread too. Interesting flavour, lots of hazelnut, some chocolate. Smooth, creamy, with medium body, lively carbonation, and a light bitterness in an enough long finish. Less hoppy than expected. After all I find it enough well balanced and tasty.

Jan 8, 2008 I was pissed at this beer because it was nutty enough to get me expecting, but not nutty enough to finish the job! Man, now I really want a super-nutty beer. Rather sweet, almost brown sugary in its smoothness. Light roasiness, and a smooth hazelnut flavor. I just wish there was more!

Jan 5, 2008 On tap at Flying Saucer. Has a dark ruby color with a medium light tan head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is roasted malts and sweet caramel. Some lacing on the glass. The taste is malty with a sweet dry finish. Really enjoyed this one.

Dec 30, 2007 [778-20071020] Bottle. Mildly wet dog and nutty sweet roasted malt aroma. Clear, dark ruby brown body with a quick foamy light tan head. Roasted nutty vanilla malt flavour. Medium body. Very nice and nutty.

Dec 30, 2007 Pours a medium-dark brown with a thick tan head. Aroma is sweet, mostly nuts and coffee. First taste is all hazelnut, but that seems to mellow and be balanced by chocolate and coffee. I really enjoyed this beer.
