Nov 26, 2007 One of the best beers I’ve had. It pours a brown color and smell of nuts. Smooth and creamy from beginnning to end. Excellent nutty taste. This one will be bought again.

Nov 25, 2007 Poured a dark brown with medium head. Smelled and tasted of hazelnuts and malt. It was a very smooth brew on the front and backend. Overall, one of the best beers I’ve had.

Nov 25, 2007 (Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 24 Nov 2007) Dark reddish brown colour with brief head. Malty, nutty nose with notes of toffee, chocolate, wild berries and hazelnuts. Malty, nutty taste with dark fruit, prunes, hazelnuts and hints of chocolate. Low bitterness, hints of sweetness. Nice beer, but lacking some punch.

Nov 24, 2007 Wow! That lives up to its name. Deep brown pour, very fine bubbles and head, gorgeous. Wonderful hazelnut aroma with some malt, and maple syrup. The flavor mactches... very sweet and smooth, malty, nutty, and some chocolate? Unfortunately the palate just lets this beer down... the carbonaton is spot on but the body is sooo weak.

Nov 24, 2007 Freshly poured while the thick brown foamy head slowly dissipates believe it or not I smell MANGOS! Im drunk and I have a damn mango tree about 20ft from my window but I smell mangos directly from this brew. Now after the head is gone and time to settle I definitely smell the hazel nut. Its so NUTTY! So smooth and drinkable matter of fact I honestly can drink this by the gallon. At 6.22% alcohol there is no trace of it. Get lost in this beverage and enjoy. Absolutely beautiful in appearance, aroma, and most importantly TASTE! My #1! Sorry Franziskaner Hefewiesse but youve been replaced but I still love you! However you know what there is no such thing as perfect so...

Nov 22, 2007 Waitress surprised me with this one. I could tell by the appearance it was going to be a winner. Hazelnut very evident and aftertaste is spectacular.
