Rogue HazelNut Brown Nectar

1.6 pint bottle, $5.89. Aroma is moderately nutty with notes of vanilla malt. Average off-white foamy head that mostly diminished and left little lace. Dark brown normal hue. Flavor is lightly sweet and not very bitter. Palate is light-med watery texture with soft carbo. Nice brew, mild and sweet nutty smell/flavor left me satisfied.

Bomber. Pours a cloudy brown color with a small diminishing beige head. The aroma is roasted malts, hazelnut, and dough. The flavor definetly has hazelnut, but not at the exclusion of other tastes. I also get vanilla, chocolate, and some bread. This is mildly sweet with mild bitterness so it ends up being pretty well balanced. Medium bodied.

Nice, unique flavor and the hazelnut really sets it apart. Will be drinking again...

22oz - Aroma is cardboard, toasted malts, pecans and hazelnut. Pours transparent brown with a nice fluffy head and good lacing. Flavor matches aroma with the nuttiness lingering. Palate is creamy and smooth. A pretty good brown but I like mine with a bit more hops. Maybe this one was at the store a while.

Don’t have my notes from this one, just my rating. I do recall the hazelnut taste getting cloying near the end of my glass. Good for one, but not more.

Wow!! This beer is very unique. Aroma is great, it smells nuts, vanilla and toffee. Very carbonate on the tongue and finished very smooth with a strong taste of hazelnut. Would drink it again and again.

Very good beer, I wish you could rate it along with price though, big bottle but a little high priced at $11.

Bottle Dark amber pour with small head. Hazelnut and somewhat bready aroma and flavor. Smooth. Malty finish. Good brew. Re-rate on draught very disappointing flavor, really nothing to it :(
