Aroma is nutty, large hazelnut notes. Appearnce is a beautiful golden brown, two-finger beige head. Taste is light to start, typical brown ale flavor, finishes nicely with a hazelnut and bitter flavor. Mouthfeel is average. Overall, Iím a bit disappointed, I was expecting more flavor, overall.

Bottle into a glass. Pours a light brown with a nice tan head. Hazelnut and caramel malt on the nose. An excellent beer. Roasted hazelnut does not take away from the damn fine brown itís built on.

(Rogue HazelNut Brown Nectar) Bottle 3355 ml at home, served into a shaker, ABV 6.2% Brown coloured body with a small tan head on top, with low retention. Aroma of nuts, hazelnut, pistachio, light caramel. Seems strange at first but it turns to be very appealing. Taste also of hazelnuts, pistachio, chocolate, same again - weird at first but easy to drink. Medium thin body, carbonation on the low side. Not bad at all.

First off I need to say the color of this beer is absolutely gorgeous. Iíve had some truly remarkable looking beers and this is now one of them. Aroma is nice and sweet. You really get the hazelnut, like it just pops out at you. Very authentic as well not some weird adjunct smell. Taste is so smooth and delicious. Like this is the definition of a delicious beer. Itís nutty, and sweet with a unmistakeable hazelnut taste. Absolutely delicious. Iím kind of fan boying the shit out of this right now. I actually donít drink a lot of Rogue beers, I think theyíre a bit over priced but this is absolutely worth the price. I could crush a ton of these itís that good.

330ml bottle @Beerfox, Riga. Clear copper color. Small size, bubbly white head, stays. Very malty, sweet, hazelnuts, cookies, biscuits in aroma. Biscuits, cookies, sweet, hazelnuts, roast in taste. Sweet hazelnut brownies in aftertaste. Medium carbonation. Exciting and fantastic at first, but end is kind of too sweet and becomes a struggle.

Excellent aroma and flavor. The scent is clearly reminiscent of hazelnut and ginger. The mouthfeel is smooth and satisfying. Low IBUs (28-33) are welcome and help make this one very enjoyable brown ale for this drinker. My new favorite brew. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Drank from bottle. A nutty taste but nothing special. Perhaps better consumed from glass.

Brown as can be expected. Fuller palate than anticipated. Aroma was faint with hints of nut. The hazelnut was more pronounced through the flavor with a pretty malt base. Decent and got better as it warmed.
