Superb beer, skillfully crafted from the best ingredients is one of these stimulating foods. Chocolate is another. Combining these flavours in just the right balance only serves to enhance their powers. The combination of chocolate and beer is sure to put a smile on your face. Bottle thanks to americanbrews. Black with an espresso head. Nose is liquid chocolate and nothing else. Very nice on the palate with a great flavor of chocolate and a slightly roasted finish.

12 oz bottle. Dark brown with a brief, lacy tan head. Incredible aroma of dark chocolate and cocoa. Full bodied with a bright citrus tang. Taste starts with bittersweet chocolate and lime zest. Gets hot fudgy, carob coming in then grassy with pine. Dry finish with some mocha. Dripping with chocolate goodness but you still know you’re drinking a beer.

One of Rogue’s best products. Reliable, well made, a real friend in need. One of best stouts in the nation, bar none.

Bottle courtesy of BMan1113VR. Opaque brown pour with red touches on the edge. Fat chocolate aroma with tinges of alcohol strength. Taste is a bitter chocolate with some roasted coffee ground. Finish is mostly bitter dryness. I wanted this to be a little sweeter.

12 oz bottle via a trade with Americanbrew. Shared with the Dallas Crew. Pours with a deep black body and a fading tan head. Body coats the glass when swirled. Smell is very much like ST’s Chokolat. Tons of milk chocolate, Hershey’s syrup, sugar and cocoa butter. Taste is not as good or as strong as the aroma had portrayed. Seltzer water mixed with cold "hot chocolate" and not much else. A bit of bitter chocolate on the back head. A bit too lively carbonation and a bit too dry for the style in my humble opinion. Very low in residual sweetness for a chocolate impy stout.

Deep brown color with a tan head. Big bakers chocolate and mocha aromas. Smooth medium body. Great blend of sweet milk chocolate, dry bakers chocolate and bitter blackened malts. Intensely tasty stout !

Moter oil black… Amazingly think and velvety, like biting into warm fudge… sweet but balanced bitterness…. Truly a dissert beer if one was ever brewed!
