COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Above and beyond an India Pale Ale--I2PA is radically hopped with an intense aroma and hop bitterness. Unfiltered and aged for 9 months before it leaves the brewery--not for the faint of heart. I2PA is brewed with two-row Pipkin Pale malts, Saaz, Cascade and Northwest Golding hops.

Pours a light orange gold amber with a small head. Nose is citrus and sweet. Taste full of flavor, citrusy and bitter but melded with some sweetness. Complex and medium bodied. Landing medium and flavor. Very very nice. Quaff Score 8 / 10

Pours an orange amber with an off white head and a sweet, hoppy aroma. Taste is sweet, of fresh hops, citrus, grapefruit, and slight alcohol with a heavy bitter finish. Great double IPA with a lot of hop flavor.

sulawang (213) - British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 13, 2012
pours cloudy peachy orange, with a nice foamy head. Strong aromatic tangerine nose. Drinks with a nice creamy mouthfeel, tastes of tangerine, bitter orange peel, apricot, and transitions in to a super long lingering 9/10 bitter finish. Hits hard and aggressive. Very drinkable, particularly when nicely chilled.

Draft. Pours orange with a white head. Light fruity hoppy aroma with a hint of pine. The flavor has a good amount of bitterness, but with not a lot of hop flavor.

Creamy mouthfeel, good lace. Not bad tasting but on the bitter side, and a wee astringent. -- Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone.

Hazy golden color; Medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of floral hops, pine, citrus, & some caramel malt; Flavor of slight sweet malt, pine hops, caramel/toffee, and citrus (notably grapefruit); Finish is bitter; Nicely balanced; Overall, quite sticky - but I enjoyed it.

Aroma: somewhat muted to me, some butter and caramel, a little resin; Appearance: a little bit hazy, deep honey; Taste: strong pine and resin, some orange; Palate: a good bitter in the back of the tongue, mellows into a leafy taste; Overall: pretty darn good, I haven’t had many IIPAs in a while, and this one is best described as pleasant and enjoyable, I’d recommend it

Poured from a cool swing top bottle. Light brownish orange color. Aroma is floral hops and earthy malts. Flavor is sweet malts mixed with an earthy bitterness. Just not my style. I expect at least a touch of fruitiness from my IPAs
