Commercial Description:
Above and beyond an India Pale Ale--I2PA is radically hopped with an intense aroma and hop bitterness. Unfiltered and aged for 9 months before it leaves the brewery--not for the faint of heart. I2PA is brewed with two-row Pipkin Pale malts, Saaz, Cascade and Northwest Golding hops.

If you ever want to buy me a beer in the summertime this would be it. Very nice pine, citrus hop nose. Pours a beautiful cloudy orange and tastes like a hopped up dream. It has a nice bitter finish.

Pours with a thick head in a tulip glass (highly recommended). Orange color with sediment, cloudy. Strong hoppy, resin aroma, slightly medicinal but also fruity. Delectable and powerful. Full-bodied but light palate. Nuanced IPA that I will make sure to try again.

Poured from a black ceramic swing-top bottle. Pretty hazy golden, yellow color. Nose has nice floral, hoppy aromas. Some bittereness like a grapefruit in the flavor with a slight hint of alcohol in the finish. Maybe a little heavy and flat bitterness in the middle. A very nice IIPA but not my favorite of the family.

Wonderful beer on draught. Very overly hoppy, but hey that is what it is made to be. Wonderful.

Pours a hazy, orange color with a white, creamy-pillowy, average head which is mostly dimiishing and leaves minimal lace. Nose is certainly filled with high-alpha hops; citrus notes of pink grapefruit and some tangerine, with pine needles and grass, and a sweet, buttery, biscuity malt back. Flavor is just as hoppy but less citric; citrus notes lean more towards the tangerine notes, pine needles thorouhly prickle the tongue, and dry grass filters in all the way until the finish. Malts are supportive with a notes of sweet bread and light caramel while hops bring a moderately high bitterness. Palate could afford to be a bit fuller and rounder; initially prickly, medium, lively, somewhat coating, and dry as it progresses. Finishes nearly all bitter with a minimal lingering sweetness, dry grassy notes, some light herbal, and tangerine still remaining and just a mild warmth. Actually a nice IIPA, but just not my favorite example of the style; too dry and grassy and lacks the body of better IIPA’s. Put to gether well and brings a good amount of bitterness. Too some it may be superb but just not my style f IIPA.

Bottled. Cloudy golden with a small, white head. Loads of grassy hoppiness and sweet maltiness. Pine-needles aswell. Very citric flavour; grapefruit and pomerance. Late and big bitterness.

Ceramic bottle. Pours thick with a slight carb. Great aroma. Complex piney fruit almost mint aroma. Smooth tasting. Great beer!
