Commercial Description:
Above and beyond an India Pale Ale--I2PA is radically hopped with an intense aroma and hop bitterness. Unfiltered and aged for 9 months before it leaves the brewery--not for the faint of heart. I2PA is brewed with two-row Pipkin Pale malts, Saaz, Cascade and Northwest Golding hops.

man bought a growler of this and thought it was amazing. super resiny grassy aroma which i don’t believe from the hops he used, pours an amazing yellow which is probably my favorite part just bright yellow no caramel here. tastes hoppy honey sweet and more hops, changed my mind of what an imperial and ipa should be. amazing.

Swing top ceramic bottle. Aroma of caramel and floral hops. Pours cloudy orange with thick bubbly head. Flavor is very crisp with a lingering bitterness. Good carbonation. Overall very good.

Unclear hazy orange beer with 1 finger head. Aroma was sweet, hoppy, citrus. Taste was very sweet, bitter, citrus, bitter, actually I guess bittersweet. Very sweet almost like a barley wine. Had a nice lacing. Did I say bitter & sweet, yes sweet. Sorry Rogue I do love you but not this one.

Golden pour with small head. Tangy and hoppy aroma with some citrus notes. Flavor was sweet and tangy with lemon and some orange. For 9.5% you did not really taste the alcohol at all. Smooth.

Sampled on draft at Smokin Joes in Pittsburgh PA this beer poured a bright yellow-golden color with a medium sized white head that lingered. The aroma was tangy, sweet, fruity and hoppy. The flavor was tangy, sweet and fairly full of fruity hops. The finish was the same and long. The mouthfeel was fairly thick. The alcohol was well hidden. Tasty and surprisingly easy drinking. Good.

Bottle@home Apperance: Fizzy yellow/orange with a lovely white head. Aroma: Orange, Fruit (peach), Honey, Sweet malts. Flavor: Citric notes, Caramel, Honey, Pine, Lemon peel, Spices. Palate: Starts out quite sweet but then hops kicks in after a little while balancing this whole thing to perfection. Medium carbonation. This is the best beer i’ve tried from Roque as of yet. The smell is a little bit better than the actual taste but it’s a close draw. If it weren’t for the insane price of this i’d drink it more often. Beautiful.

Poured copper/amber with a lasting white head, huge hop aroma with citrus and piney notes. Tasted of thick hops of citrus at the beginning and finished a little too sweet, with some alcohol taste. Overall an excellent DIPA that needs just a bit of tweaking.

Tap at PIB. Pours hazy golden with a small white head and light lacing. Aroma is full of citrus hops with some light grassiness and a caramel malt backdrop. Flavor is mostly grapefruit and orange, the cascade is very prominent. Solid malt backing, but a little more hoppy than balanced. Decent IIPA, but I certainly would never shell out for the insanely overpriced ceramic bottles.
