Great looking beer. This beer has a nice orange haze color. I really don’t prefer the transparent beers that looked heavily filtered. The beer was extremely aromatic. Nice citrus hop aroma, along with some pine hop aroma as well. This beer was extremely pungent even when extremely cold. I was very impressed with the smell. The beer had a huge bittering hop profile. I mean this beer was pretty damn bitter. A slight malt taste to it, but if you are a "hop head" you definitely want to give this beer a try. Great hop taste is all I have to say. The beer is of an average palate. Not extremely creamy or smooth, but a decent palate. Overall, a hop lovers dream. Very aromatic, and the taste of hops won’t disappoint you.

Small off-white head.
Aroma: Grapefruit, pine.
Flavor: Strong mix of grapefuit and pine.
Long and very bitter finish with alcahol warming.
HOP HEADS ONLY! It is true to the nature of what you think a Rogue IPA would be like.

Nov 29, 2008 Medium white head. Hazy yellow body with light carbonation. Intense citrus and grassy hop aroma with orangey notes. Sweetish bitter straw, grass, and citrus taste with malty peppery notes. Fullish body, sharpish mouthfeel. Dry straw, resin, and citrus aftertaste. Very good. (0.75l bottle, Systembolaget Nordstan, Göteborg.)

A hop garden with some maltiness. Grass, some pine, the hops dominate all the way. Not very balanced.

Nov 26, 2008 Good frothy head,top carbonationmisty orange/gold colour.Aroma sweet fruit,citric,note of caramel,maltiness,peach,apeicot,delicious perfume in a bowl.Flavour tangy,dances on the tongue,a bitter that follows the tang then followed by a mouthfull of flavours,malt,fruit,fruit peel,citrus,stonefruit mixture,the blend is great with the typical Imperial bitterness and alcohol strength.At the finish it leaves a lovely mild malt strong hop tang and bitter impression,lovely beer.

Nov 21, 2008 01.11.2008, On tap at the Rogue Ale house in San Francisco. I think this one was a little dissapointing. The colour is golden, no head. Aroma is weak and there is no aromahops.
