COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Above and beyond an India Pale Ale--I2PA is radically hopped with an intense aroma and hop bitterness. Unfiltered and aged for 9 months before it leaves the brewery--not for the faint of heart. I2PA is brewed with two-row Pipkin Pale malts, Saaz, Cascade and Northwest Golding hops.

UPDATED: JUL 16, 2005 Orange body with a moderate off white head that lasts a long time. Bottle "cellared" for almost a year since I forgot about it! Big hoppy aroma - pine and resin. Flavour is also resin dominant. Malt is present but it is relegated to the supporting cast. Dry alcoholic resin finish washes away glimpses of sweet orange citrus in the middle. Alcohol is pleasant at first but becomes less so as the glass goes on. Medium palate. A bit more time in the bottle might smooth it out. 8/4/7/4/15 <P>Original Rating Bottled. Orangey with no head to speak of. Aroma is a malty alchol "barleywine" like aroma. Very hoppy, but relatively well balanced - not as bitter as I expected. The malt is not very noticable but is enough to keep the bitter from being too over the top. Body is thick but not creamy. A sipper, it leaves the mouth a tad dry. 6/3/7/4/16

Pours murky orange with almost no head. Smells just like apricots with a little malt and caramel thrown in there. Taste is citrusy with a sting malt middle followed by an extremely long hoppy finish. Fun beer to try.

Pours a hazy light amber with a flimsy white head that quickly dissipates. Aroma is superb. Fresh aromas of: caramel, bread, spruce, dough, alcohol, and some vanilla. Taste is fairly well balanced with a nod to bitterness. Palate is great and I’m struggling not to rate it a five... I think I will. Medium bodied but with a thin mouth feel, slick feel, average carbonation, with a lingering bitter finish. Great product, will drink again.

Transfer from BA reviewed on 2-13-12 - Served in 10 oz chalice glass Appearance- Served an orange -yellow color with a nice retaining head. Upon fading it gave way to a bit of lacing. Smell – The aroma is piney and citrus hop heavy in the beginning. A bit of maltiness, with a somewhat sweet caramel aroma works its way in toward the middle of the nose. More bitter hop aromas then overwhelm the sweeter malt aroma toward the end and finish off the nose. Taste – Bitter hops is the predominant and overarching flavor. A nice more piney and earthy heavy hop flavor hit the tongue up front and last throughout the taste experience. Some bready and caramel maltiness are present toward the middle of the taste. These again are shadowed by the overall piney hoppiness as well as some more citrus hoppiness which comes in toward the very end. Bitter; but a very nice flavor. Mouthfeel – A middle to heavy body seem to coat the tongue with some creaminess. The slight creaminess and a moderate level of carbonation make it easy to drink. Overall – A very nice example of a double IPA. Its bitter, strong and hoppy yet very easy to drink. A nice brew.

hazy amber, thin white cream. Orange and grapefruit, light sugar. Flavor burns more front, toast and old grains, bits of grapefruit lingering, sticky body riddled with teeth rotting sweetness.

Aroma is that of lemon grass, sweet maltiness and cascadian hops. Taste is a very potent hop character. The rich maltiness is present at beginning before the bitterness takes over. The abv is apparent but the tanginess is pretty dominant

Barwa: bursztynowa, wyraźnie mętna, zawiesista. Piana bardzo mała, drobno pęcherzykowa, momentalnie opadająca. Pozostająca jedynie na ściankach. Wysycenie, znikome.
