This opaque brown ale poured into a snifter with a massive foamy tan head and a toffee aroma. The flavor is coffee and treacle with some subtle hop bitterness. It’s a straighforward porter that has a lot of taste. KyotoLefty (1400), Kyoto, Japan

It’s a dark brown with a small brown head that quickly fades to a thin film. The flavor starts with lots of plum and light chocolate. The finish has some moderate citrus hoppiness and faint roast. Medium bodies with mild carbonation and a soft mouthfeel. Reminds me of a hoppy Baltic Porter. maniac (2628), Richmond, Virginia, USA
