Oakes (8058), gone rambling, Vietnam Nov 27, 2008 Near black body. Thin, light brown head. Chewy aroma with some dark fruit and light chocolate. Rich dark fruits and a burnt coffee character. Less than what I wanted. argo0 (6861), Washington DC, USA Oct 8, 2006 (draft) Black body with pillowy tan head, nice lacing. Moderately sweet, roast, cherry, vanilla, chocolate. Taste is moderately sweet, roast, cherry, chocolate, some vanilla, alcohol. Light alcohol burn in finish. Medium-full body. harrisoni (6704), Ashford, Kent, England Oct 24, 2006 On tap at Rogue, Portland. Black, lasting tan head. Bit like the Impy Stout, but with a bit more choc and less sour. Quite smooth actually. I rather like this for its intensity and the alcohol. Could have this on a cold winter night and enjoy it immensely
