Murky amber. 2cm of dense, soda like tan head settle quickly. Nose of sweet and lightly toasty malt and piney, resinous, lightly spicy hops. Same hops are more assertive in the flavor with moderate malt and airy, dry yeast. Medium body, smoother than balanced. Very easy to drink. Flavor falls off rather quickly, not much of a finish, just a bit of caramel. Not bad, but not worth the price.

Poured a burnt mahogany amber color. Slight off-white head that receded to a thin veneer. Nose is more malty than hoppy, which have just a slight presence. I really like the bready flavors in this beer. Very unexpected considering the style. Hops are also a tad more subdued than expected and balance out the malty wholeness with a slight spruce-ness. Some heat from the alcohol is not very well concealed though. Mouthfeel is perhaps a tad thinner than ideal but no great knock. Interesting take on the style and I can definitely enjoy more of these.

Pours a brownish burnt orange with an off-white head. I unfortunately caught next to no aroma on this cause it was just too light. Tastes of toast caramel and a lightly bitter citrus hop flavor. Deep earthy flavorful hop finish that’s more buttery than expected. The actual "lay on your throat" bitterness was pretty light. Medium body with a clean creaminess. Good stuff, aside from the weak aroma.

(75oml crock bottle) Pours a cloudy amber body with a small beige head. Aroma of caramel, citrus, spruce, and some herbs. Flavor of caramel malt, light hops, and some floral qualities.

Amber brown body, thin white head. Aroma is hoppy, with caramel. Taste is lightly hoppy, pale malts, crystal malts. Not bad, just lack of depth for 7.5% alc.

Bottle; Nose of flowery hops and light caramel; copper with a medium, glasslacing, offwhite head; Flavor of hop bitterness. Not much different from the Ollfabrikken Imp Cream Ale I had tonight!

Bottled. Lager glass. Pours a murky brown ale which evokes aromas of hops, caramel and malt. Tastes are balanced with hops and roasty caramel malt being in good harmony. A little fruity. Good.

Bottle: Deep caramel in color, very dirty looking, moderate to large foamy sandy head, sparce lacing.   Soft hop and biscuity malt nose.   Smooth hop profile, very pale malts.   Not as biscuity as I would have thought.   Fairly clean, very pale apple skin is present but near the end is overshadowed by soft lingering bitterness.   Body and mouthfeel are fairly modera te.   As it warms a bit of alcohol is noticeable.   Seems a bit bigger than your average bitter, which is just fine with me.   Thanks Bill for the bottle!
