This was a good beer and easy to drink. My only real complaint is that while this is good, the price is not. Make it in 12 ounce bottles for a cheaper price and many would probably be happier to drink it.

Bottle... Hazy amber ale with a small, creamy, white head. Decent retention. The aroma is a swirl of mandarin orange, tropical fruit and caramel with a hint of maple syrup. Perfectly balanced flavor with English hops and crystal or Munich and pale malts. Medium-bodied and creamy with mild carbonation. Lengthy, lightly bitter finish with a pinch of salt. Kudos to boboski for sharing his bottle!

(On tap - cask) Presented as "Rogue Imperial YSB". Slightly hazy, amber golden with an off-white head. Lightly perfumy nose. The mouthfeel is expectedly flat. Medium body with sweetish malts and some accents of caramel. Ends with a very subdued bitterness. Highly drinkable. 240307

750ml bottle. Pours a hazy copper with a small light tan head that leaves minimal lacing. Aroma of grassy hops and sweet malt. Taste is sweet malt and grassy hops with a mild bitterness. Very smooth mouthfeel with gentle carbonation. Alcohol very well hidden. A very good strong bitter.

murky orange with a nice thick white head.citrus hops and caramel malts make up the aroma.flavors are seltzer water, slight hop bitterness, toasty malts, and biskets.mouthfeel is thin,i cant really say there is anything "imperial" about it.....looks like rouge has duped me again.

A wonderful addition to the Rouge Brewery. The aroma is subtle. The malts and the hops balance each other. the malts display caramel and the hops have a pine tree like flavor. Still this beer provide everything that you want for a strong beer
