Aroma is fruity, maybe cherries and hop bitterness. Flavor is much like an english bitter only very amped up. Nice body. robinvboyer (1444), Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, Canada
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 11, 2009 big hop aroma, with a good malt base. The malt doesnt take away from the hops, but the hops are all over the place. This is more of a malt heavy ipa if you ask me. nqualls (1435), Nashville, Tennessee, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 7, 2007 Murky amber. 2cm of dense, soda like tan head settle quickly. Nose of sweet and lightly toasty malt and piney, resinous, lightly spicy hops. Same hops are more assertive in the flavor with moderate malt and airy, dry yeast. Medium body, smoother than balanced. Very easy to drink. Flavor falls off rather quickly, not much of a finish, just a bit of caramel. Not bad, but not worth the price. fredandboboflo (1431), East Setauket, New York, USA

Aroma of toasted malt, some tropical/red fruits, all sort of like an amber ale with the addition of something I perceived to be very dog food-like. In the mouth, hops kick in big time with a juicy grapefruit character taking over from the malty nose. Slightly astringent finish. Pretty tasty. j12601 (1413), Poughkeepsie, New York, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 19, 2009 On tap at the Golden Rail. Pours a hazy dark amber with a medium white head that fades leaving ample lacing. Slight sweet citrus and pineapple notes. Slightly thin body. Remarkably bitter and long lasting finish. tytoanderso (1387), St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Dec 3, 2007 Ceramic swing top bottle. Lots of citrus on the aroma. Not bright like an IPA, more like muddled or dried. Apricot, grapefruit and mango. Some sweeter caramel malt. Pours a relatively unattractive murky orangish brown with a rocky off-white head. Earthy hops, soap, tree bark, caramel and toffee on the tongue. Interesting. Medium bodied with a fairly bitter finish. Magjayran (1379), Durham, North Carolina, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 18, 2007 Clear amber color with a nice white head. Bitter hops are right up front in the aroma. You get more hints of what must be a combo of Euro and American hops in the taste. The finish is obviously the signature Rogue house flavor. Solid stuff.
