| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 1, 2007 Thin, off-white, fully dissipating head. Cloudy, deep amber body with brown and orange hues at the perimeter. Good looking typical Rogue lacing. Aroma is of English malt, toasty, but only slightly so. Also evident are citrusy hops creating a pleasant fruit blend of oranges and tangerines. Caramel is too heady and detracts from other subtleties that would otherwise be easily pinpointed. Strong bitterness ushers in the robust flavor. Quite sweet as well, though these qualities clash rather than unite. Palate is full bodied with lively carbonation. Finishes hoppy, neither excessively dry nor sweet, though this doesn’t seem balanced or well thought through. Light sweet caramel lingers. Prostman (1077), Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 15, 2007 This was a good beer and easy to drink. My only real complaint is that while this is good, the price is not. Make it in 12 ounce bottles for a cheaper price and many would probably be happier to drink it. fishingnet (1047), Brandon, Florida, USA

A very good strong bitter. bfeldmann (1042), Wilmington, Delaware, USA
