Tasting sample at the brewery: Pours clear yellow, no head. Aroma is bland, malty and grassy. Taste is like a lager, grassy, dry hop finish. Palate is bubbly and bitter. Overall blah.

Bottle:   Deep amber, on the orange side, thick and hazy, large rocky off-white head, clumps of lacing.   Wet hop nose, a little barnish and musty.   Has a very slight hint of Honeycomb cereal.   Somewhat of a malty start on the tongue, well, cereal like.   I do get some of that Honeycomb cereal.   Slighty hopped, a little citrus and pine, but its all minor.   A little wet cardboard too.   Backside has a bit more cereal than other fresh Harvest type IPAs/Pales.   Not as malty or smooth as other examples.   Not thin, but perhaps could be a bit maltier.   Could stand to be a bit more Hopcentric.   It seems to be mostly up front.   Finish is fairly clean, does have some lingering Honeycomb cereal as well as wet cardboard.   Not bad, but many other better examples this season.

Bottle shared by JoeTheYounger. Pours a cloudy orange color with a big tan that laces nicely. Aroma has some fading citrus hops and a good bit of dust overlaying a strong caramel malt scent. Flavor is initially very bitter, but it dies off and quickly becomes caramel and almonds. Hop flavor is mostly gone. Agressive carbonation, big and full on the palate. Even though it tastes old, still pretty good.

Bottle from DA via trade. Appearance was cloudy orange with a very nice head. Aroma of sweet caramel an citrus hops. Initial taste was very smooth and earthy with a little bitterness afterwords. Very good carbonation. Overall I thought it was pretty good, it was nice to have tried this as I have never had it before.

From a 22 oz bottle this poured a hazy copper color with big off-white head and medium lacing. Aroma gives a nose of pine hops. Very slick and greasy mouthfeel. Flavor is a good balance between caramel hops and hops, and the finish is long and bitter. A very nice and easy drinking APA.

On tap at Naked City. Pours copper with a thin off-white head. Smells mostly of pine hops, balanced in the taste by caramel and biscuity malts.

Hazy copper pour with nice frothy white head. Nice aroma of bread and citrus hops. Bright distinctive taste with a little bit of malt and pine, lingering bitter finish. The hops in this one really do stand out as different. I wanted to like it a little more.
