Light golden color with white head. Sweet, smooth, light flavor. Just a solid enjoyable lager, which doesn’t always say a whole lot.

Clear golden color with a small white head. Light malts and some lemon in the nose. Clean malty flavor, moderate bitterness. Light grassy hop finish. Drinkable.

Darkish yellow with a faint hint of orange in the hue, absolutely beautiful creamy head. Aroma was of grassy hops. Flavor matched, grassy with a bit of an herbal note. Not my favorite hop profile necessarily, but not bad. Quite full bodied. Decent.

Nice...a lager with a definitive edge of hoppy grains and the Rogue touch of excellent balance and character. Smooth as can be with very little typical lager unpleasantness. Nice and full for the style as well.

2004 draught @ Redbones. Pours a rosy peach/golden color. Mild chill haze with little white head. Not much aroma, but in a bar, cold out of a shaker, it’s not very easy to take in the aroma. Flavor, anyways, is quite superb. Tastes more like a kellerbier, very soft and creamy body, good caramel sweetness with some earthy, almost mossy tones. Medium body, little to no wateriness. Soft mildly fruity hops throughout and a bit of a crisp finish, though surprisingly not spicy and no sharp lager bite. Whatever it is, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

on tap at rogue in newport. i don´t know what is more embarrassing, the fact that rogue, a supposedly leading micro, makes a bland, shitty, international, industrial lager like this, or the fact that people still feel they should give it a decent score because it´s manufactured by rogue

On tap. Crazy how Rogue calls what might ordinarily taste like one style something completely different (case in point this beer and Dead Guy Ale). This tastes like one of their standard pale ales, lots of that west-coast hop bite. This beer has a solid caramel malt body, rich and smooth. Nothing Irish about this, and much more body than your typical lager. Good, but a bit strange.

22oz bottle-not like the one shown-pours a golden yellow hue with minimal white head. very noble, german hop, slightly skunky lager aroma. This does not resemble anything Irish. A decent clean lager, but nothing special. thanks to Phillybeer_2112 for the bottle

Bottled with a "not the picture on this site" logo. Medium white head, light honey body, slightly hazy, head vanished, no lace. Malty, yeasty aroma, strongly of apples like sparkling apple cider, with honey and a light lager yeast. Medium body with a small amount of dry, effervescent carbonation, wet, full, almost but not quite syrupy, semi-dry finish. Flavor is yeast up front and apple, honey, noble hop finish, some alcohol once it warms. Very pleasant, drinkable...session this like no tomorrow...refreshing, fairly clean.

On tap at Rogue’s Portland taphouse, sampled 1 August 2004. Clear straw (golden) body, thin cream/light tan head. Light, biscuity, grassy aroma. Light biscuity flavor as well, with a touch of fruit and grassy hops. Pretty boring.
