3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
When I saw this was from Rougue I was very excited, however this was not a great offering. This beer reminded me of a stepped up version of a American lager. If you like a crisp, hoppy lager this maybe right up your street, but I wasn’t feeling it!

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Golden yellow with a very, very fresh nose. Crispy and wispy head, I would guess this to have come from a tapper!! While not all that exciting of a style, this thirst quencher was a perfect match for my boring burger that accompanied it. Slightly grassy and dry in the middle with just a bit of bitterness at the end.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Beautiful, beautiful color. Pretty tight white head. Thirst quenching, plenty of hops, though the palate was somewhat dissapointing. Still a good beer though, Rouge is my favorite, i haven;t had a beer from the brewery that wasn’t awsome.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: JUN 20, 2005 Pours a nice gold color with a nice white head. Aroma is sweet and malty with a nice hop backing. Taste is sweet with nice hop tones and ends slightly bitter. Very refreshing and smooth. Rogue can pull off any style of beer with great results.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Straw color with small head. It has a light sweet malt aroma. Taste is somewhat astringent and feels very light with a decent hop kick. It’s fairly sweet and decent, but not overwhelming.

2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Slightly sour, musty aroma. Pee golden in color. Quickly dissipating head. Decent amount of hops and malt for this lager. Mildly chewy, with some detectable yeastiness. Kind of tastes like Rogue’s anti-Rogue beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cloudy yellow color with foamy with head. A light, mellow yeasty aroma taste that has a smooth hop bite and a sweet malty taste. The finish wasn't as crisp as I like, but still clean. An excellent lager.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: APR 29, 2007 Light orange, not red!, with a nice sticky light foam head. Pretty mild caramel-spice flavors, with decent malt backdrop. Almost bubble gummy. Not Rogue’s best effort, but good enough.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Understated, for a Rogue. Actually defined more by what its not. No huge hop flavors, no assertive body. Nice, but drifts toward boring - something a Rogue should never do.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled version purchased from Bon Vivant in Smithfield, VA, surprisingly enough. Pours a hazed gold. Medium fluffy light tan head. Nose is lightly hopped, and malted. The taste is more malted but has a crisper hop body. There's some dryness to the palate but it finishes well enough, sort of malted grass(?).
