3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
At Hangar on the wharf. Bottle.
The appearance was a nice looking hazy golden yellow with a soft carbonation rising into a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than a minute leaving some neatly coated looking lacing.
The smell definitely had the German pilsener malts making up the majority of the aroma but still letting in an adequate amount of sweet bread.
The taste was mainly the same with a decent quick crisp sweet finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a pretty good sessionability about it. The carbonation was good for the style and pretty good to me.
Overall, I say this was a pretty good premium beer I’d have again.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours gold with a white head. Taste sweet, bread, floral. I thought this was good. I would drink this again.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Aroma is a grassy somewhat grainy body with someone carbonated body. Taste is a nice is a fairly subtle body with light malt notes and a basic bitterness. A clean grain character on tip with a smooth matching bitterness. Body is a hazy gold with a nice medium lace body thst retains well.

10oz on tap at Flipdaddy’s. Clear golden orange color. Nice bigger off-white head. Good thicker splotches of lace, looks pretty damn good. Great texture to it, as well. Medium-plus body. Smooth, lightly soft, lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Great appearance and texture to this, then. Flavor is not that interesting, though. Just some bready, lagery funk. A light macro-like weird thing going on in the flavor, here. Some corn type flavors. Decent ands interesting, but what about this is supposed to be Irish-style? Is it influenced by an Irish macro? Bigger sweet taste, light to moderate bitter. Despite the odd flavor, though, it never becomes a pain a drink, and lacks the bite of a macro. Has a near-perfect texture that you only see in craft beers.. Good stuff to try, and a pretty decent, classically tasting lager in the end.

From bomber to pint glass. Pours a clear light gold with full, fluffy white head. Both aroma and flavor are grainy malt with slight hay and lemon. Finishes dry and crisp.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bomber bottle poured into pilsner glass from cellar (54F). Pours a light gold color with a thick white head. Head is long-lasting and leaves a lot of lacing on the glass. Aroma - biscuity, green, a touch of yeast. Taste - initially biscuit and then a touch of bitterness, then some malty sweetness and a finish that is lightly bitter and astringent at the back of the mouth. Carbonation level is appropriate and leaves a tickle in the back of your sinuses as you swallow. Note a huge fan of irish-style lagers, but it’s St. Patty’s Day. This isn’t bad, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to drink it again.
