2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
1 day late for St. Pats. Looked old with a decent head. Faint corn aroma. Malty, corn-flavored stuff, not alot in the hops department. Not much to say here!

A tasting at Three Callers Milwaukee. A good, not great Irish Lager. Nothing stands out yet nothing offended either. Worth a try.

Straw yellow, pours with minimal head an no lacing. Smells like citrus, not particularly wonderful. Chunky carbonation, not aggressive but a dominant characteristic. Very mild hoppiness with strong citrus tones and a finish that is reminiscent of a dry cider, but with less kick. Easy to drink, not a strong or flavorful beer. If it were cheap, I’d rate it higher, but at $5+ per 22 oz bottle, there are better beers out there.

( 22oz bottle, provided by Cavie ) Pours a clear yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of corn husks, grass, and straw. Flavor of grass, corn, and light citrus with a watery mouthfeel. Blah…

UPDATED: APR 18, 2010 650mL bottle, pours golden with a white head. Fairly standard lager here. Certainly one of Rogue’s weakest.

Bomber. Not a fan. To light and plain for me. Not much better than light beer. A little more aroma. I'll skip these the the future.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Transparent beer that looks like a typical lager. It has a nice and bubbly appearance. The gold color is what you would find standard in a lager. I can only give this the score of an average appearance. Lagers just don’t make a statement in regards to the way they look. The beer has the pils and lager hop and malt smell. It has a little less pungent smell than the cheap corporate American lagers. The ingredients smell more crisp, but I would say that this beer exceeds that level by much. Very stale taste. The hops taste like garbage. I get the same satisfaction out of a Coors. I could have purchased a 6 pack of pints of Coors for the price of the 22 ounce bottle. The beer has virtually no malt presence. The beer is also very thin, as you would expect from a lager. The fact that this is coming from Rogue, I expect a suprerior product, but I am tasting something completely inferior. Just because this is Rogue does not mean that it deserves a higher score. I find this to be on the level on Corporate American lagers.

Very disappointing from Rogue. Looks like I peed in a glass. Luckily it doesn’t smell like pee. There’s not much for taste, either.
