I had a feeling that this beer was an attempt by rogue at grabbing some of the Bud drinking croud for St. Patrick’s Day, and I think I may have been correct - it certainly looks nice (clear golden with frothy, lasting head), but that’s about it - weak aroma of lemon and yeast - mild lemon rind and hop flavor - almost metallic, like sucking on a penny - nothing really going on here - do they even drink lagers in Ireland?

Bottled. Pours out in a slightly hazy golden colour with a low fluffy white foma. Mild and quite boring aroma of straw and pears. Weak flavour of straw biscuit and grass with a short mild finish of bread and pears. A huge dissapointment.

Yellow. Apple like aroma. Light. Smooth. Not much taste but refreshing. Slight apple taste.

Pours a clear gold with white head. Aroma of earthy malts and yeast. Taste is light and heavily carbonated. Taste has a tight grassy flavor that is well balanced and finished well with hops. Not really a lot to this beer, but not bad.

Pretty golden body--fluffy off-white head...champagne like bubble action....smells a tad yeasty, but mostly a light malty aroma--kinda ordinary....refreshing and light on the palate, nothing special, but easy to drink....clean malts and fresh yeast...balanced well--just ok some small lacing forming

I know it’s a Lager, but jeeze. Bomber, poured a LIGHT yellow, fluffy white head, dissipated quickly. Not much aroma at all. First sip seemed watered down, Carbonated, but....wait, a little malt sweetness. Warmed up a couple of degrees, and the flavor was tolerable. The sweetness "Almost" makes it taste like a Light, or watered down Belgian Golden Ale? Just kept shaking my head as I sipped. Wanted more I guess, but it is a Lager. I can think of some lagers with much better flavor than this. This is my "Rogue’s" least favorite.

Bottle; clear yellow with small white head; aroma-mildly toasty, green apple, grass; taste-faint sweetness, mild bitterness, crisp, moderate carbonation. I really don’t like weak lagers

Pours straw with white head. No detectable nose (my nose is stuffed). Some aroma of straw and hay, a little bit bitter. Not my type of beer.

UPDATED: AUG 27, 2007 Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a fizzy golden color with a very large yellow-white head. The aroma was sweet, tangy and just slightly skunky. The flavor was sweet and tangy light malts with a light fruity undertone. The finish was bitter.
