Bottle. 25.4 oz. Pours pale golden with a thin, wispy white head. Aroma of juniper, hops, citrus, pine, soap suds, and floral notes. Medium bodied with a loose, clean palate. The juniper is very sublte on the tongue. Finishes smoothly and calmly. Average pale ale from Rogue.

Clear gold with big, flotsam, white head / Delicate nose of sour malt and lemon / Light to medium body, dry but with good malts, and long, slightly bitter finish / Flavors of straw, sour malt, and chrysanthemum, with notes of juniper, spruce, and gin / Elegant, a terrific summer beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A simple pale ale with a juniper bite. It seems to be more flavorful when itís slightly chilled. Iím not sure that I noticed a real difference with it being aged in Jin barrels, though it does have a longer aftertaste than most juniper beers. Tangy and a little bitter, standard with a meal, outstanding alone.

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Served out of a 22 ounce size bomber into a plastic glass at a local beer tasting event. Beer was so unique I got a second sample pour to allow a fair rating. Cloudy orange color, with a little head. Not picking up a lot of aroma in the beer, perhaps some grassy notes, but certainly not the gin and juniper that I was expecting. The taste definitely makes up for what is lacking in the smell. Lots of juniper and gin flavors -- taste a gin martini converted to a beer. Orangey and fruity finish, somewhat spicy with a little hop notes in the finish. Medium bodied, well carbonated. Somebody suggested this might pair well with rosemary, and the web site suggests either pork or a hot and spicy dish. The juniper and spices in the beer definitely make it a nice beer to pair up with the right dish. Despite the spices, itís somewhat smooth and refreshing.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Being a big fan of gin, I had to give this a hot. Pours out a clear well carbonated amber color with a small white head. Aroma is of some citrus and grassy hops, juniper and an interesting earthy/floral note. Taste is complex, notes of light citrus/grassy hops, juniper, oak, eucalyptus, pine needles and other tree-like woodsy tastes. Definitely an interesting idea, I think I kind of liked it.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bomber from Bruisiní. Pours a hazy copper with a small white head that sticks around for a while. The aroma is a little like cereal with wooden notes and a grassy hop bite. This generic, cereal beer thing is noticed in the flavor as well, but it isnít too bad. There is plenty of hop flavor, which could actually be juniper for all I know, that provides a refreshing, grassy bite. The finish is smooth and mellow with slight oaky tones. This is a really drinkable brew and shows a bit of unique personality in the style.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
22oz. brown bomber served in a Blvd. Tank 7 tulip. Poured a slightly hazy gold with a finger of white head. Bottle conditioned. Malty aroma with some biscuity malt. Didnít get much Juniper in the aroma. Lighter side of medium bodied. Base beer is a malty pale ale/ESB type of thing. More biscuity malt. A little wood in the finish. Juniper is very subtle and comes out a bit more as it warms. Easy drinking.
I was worried this beer would be over the top with the Juniper, but the opposite was true. It was too understated.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours golden. Aroma of juniper berries and grass. Flavour is similar, with pale malts and some floral notes. Not bad.
