3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
22oz bottle. Pale Ale aged in Spruce Gin barrels. Pours Orange witha slightly pink hue. Long lasting white foam. Aroma of juniper berries. Loads of pine, spruce, pale malts, and a touch of open meadow. A little tart, clean malt. Definite essence of gin. Tangerine peel, juniper berries, spruce tips. Soft and creamy texture. The Juniper Pale & Spruce Gin pair very well together. Two of my sessionable Rogue favorites!

2.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: SEP 27, 2012 Pours a mostly cloudy pale orange color with a small amount of fizzy head. Smells like a forest, lots of pine, spruce, flowers, and grass. Thereís a light fruit aroma too, maybe the juniper berries? Taste is a slight sweetness and then quickly turns very dry and fizzy. The carbonation bubbles on the tongue like a champagne and it doesnít seem to fit here. This actually tastes closer to a dry white wine than a beer. Slightly spicy and floral in the finish too. Iím just not a fan of this. Too dry and fizzy.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Multiple bottles a couple years back. Pours clearish golden with minimal head and lacing. Aromas of berries, heavy pine, gin, malts, and some citrus. Taste is perfumey berries and tree spice. Very pungent yeasty flavors, to go with the sour berries and caramel malts. Very interesting brew.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled at PBF. Hazy golden, small head. Fruity juniper berry aroma. Mid sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Slight tart vinous notes. Juniper is evident. Slight salty bitterness. Gin seems to surface late and dominate the finish.
