Fruity Aroma, some berry and gin too. Apples, pear, oak, chardonnay. Golden-Light orange color. Taste us less pungent than aroma, but pleasant. About to have a dinner of mahimahi and Lima beans and iím anticipating a good match. (Is that too close to "silence of the lambs" to be be creepy?) Very nice. A touch sour on the aftertaste, but a well crafted beer. Yea Rogue.

$1.99 for a 22 oz. bottle at Andersonís Market (Sylvania, OH) so I thought why not. Pours a hazy orange and incredibly thick foamy head. Both bottles I bought overflowed with foam when I opened them. The juniper taste was extremely mild, almost hard to find but it seemed very floral. For two bucks, Iíd buy it again.

Bottled: unk A: Golden with a finger of off-white head which falls nearly immediately to a sheet of the same. Rings of lace. Near excellent clarity. S: wow. gin. weed. gin. really have nothing else to say here. Seriously, the only other beer Iíve smelled with this much weed was devil dancer. T: Flavor is much more subtle. Pale malts, some bitter hops, some juniper. Plenty of onion and cucumber flavors. Weird, not really good. Almost has a dill pickle flavor on the finish. Fail. M: Medium bodied with moderately hi carb. O: Canít think of a reason to buy this again. Serving type: bottle 10-12-2011

This poured a hazy light orange with a white head. Aroma was of pale malt, and very light juniper. Flavor was similar, very bland and boring pale ale with a light juniper finish.

Pour is a hazy orange with a large white head. Aroma is a decent sweet malt with pungent fruitiness. Flavor is typical pale ale malts and hops but the aftertaste has a herbal spicyness. Iím guessing this is the juniper although I have never ate a juniper berry to compare this too. Itís a ok pale ale with a little twist.

&7.99 bomber bottle. Wine Warehouse. Charlottesville. Pours an amber-peach with a soft, frothy white head. Smells of sweet fruits. Thereís some apricot in there.

I tells ya, of all the beers the Yellowknife liquor store coulda imported they find the wackiest Rogues to bring up - chipotle and juniper? Selliouslee? Likez, I guess they gots all the IPAs and lagers covered with the boring stuff so here we go, get the crazy stuff from the Oregon people - why not? So, it poors with a nice lager-IPA body and good creamy head ŗ la an English cream ale thatís in a hurry. Aroma is plenty of hops, but Iím struggling to smell the juniper. Iím a big gin kinda guy, so Iíd be all over a Juniper scent if Iíd found one. The flavour is some heavy malty notes with a bit of hops and, dare I say, a juniper finish. But the juniper is honeslt buried amongst the other stuff whereas I firmly believe it should be fluttering along the top. Drinkable but this is not the "exotic" brew I was expecting - itís more of a tempered IPA that might lead to surprises for people with highly sensitive tastebuds.

22 oz. bottle. This was discounted for $3.99 so why not! Pours hazy pale amber orange with a decent soapy white head that settles to a sudsy film and faint spotty lacing. Aroma has muted dry hops of pine and strong floral juniper, I also get some caramel in this as well. Taste is piny with muted bitterness and faint gin qualities as well as some caramel malt . Palate is thin a little silky and the carbonation is, well, pretty much gone and finishes dry. I donít mind this at all, and at $3.99 I could see myself picking this up again.

Draft at Khyber Pass. Tulip. Hazy orange pour with a fizzy foam. Nicely tart and floral. Clementine marmalade. Lemmongrass. Thyme. Honey dandelion tea. The juniper berries add a pleasant earthy spiciness. Like it the more I drink it. Decent body for something so light and refreshing.
