Pours a clear golden color with a thin white head. Aroma is slightly hoppy with notes of pine, malt, and some ripe fruit. Flavor is much of the same with stronger malty notes and more fruit. Generally light to medium body with a slightly bitter finish. meisterbrauMHB (55), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Sep 21, 2008 Great fresh fruity, just barely piney aroma. A shade north of yelow with an orange edge, almost transparent with a nice head. Palate is full, almost creamy with just a bit of fizz. Strts with a little spice on the front of the tongue. Flavor is a but subdued, and the hoppy flavor is nice, with a chewy white bread undertone, aftertaste has anice bite, but a bit of a taste like licking a dirty orange peel. It’s good, but it feels like soething’s missing. EricE (471), Fairfax, Virginia, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 21, 2008 Clear pale orange-yellow with a white head. Sweet malt and barley aroma. Typical pale ale flavor. Very bitter with a hop finish. There is some fruity creaminess but overall the juniper is not really noticeable. Still a good hoppy pale ale. afireinside96 (842), Mountville, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 21, 2008 22oz bottle served in a glass mug. Lightly hazed amber body topped by a large white head. Smells like a typical pale ale, bread, citrus, biscuit. Taste is similar but does hint at some juniper berries. Pretty good, not as crazy as I had hoped though. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 18, 2008 Pours a hazy orange amber with a white frothy head. Aroma is very fruity with some nice hoppiness. A strong malt presence is dominant but there is a nice hop bitterness in the nose. Flavor starts out very malty and sweet. A nice fruitiness appears in the middle but isn’t overwhelming, which is nice because the hops are introduced immidiately after that. Finishes quick and crisp. Medium-full body and thick mouthfeel. Lower carbonation. Nice pale ale with a good balance.
