Pours a cloudy golden orange with 2-3 cm of white fluffy head that is slowly diminishing. Aroma of weed more so than hops. Initial flavor is sweet, almost sugar sweet. Flavor changes quickly to a dry, hoppy, bitter, floral flavor that has a long aftertaste. Light to medium body, limited carbonation, light lacing, and slight alcohol presence. Overall, on par with Rogue beers, but one of their weaker beers. Slipstream (790), USA

Now here is an interesting brew - hats off to Rogue for dreaming this up. A dry light ale with a quickly fading flavor. Hops blend nicely with the juniper berries, which fill up the finish and aftertaste. hopson (596), Williamsville, New York, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Sep 12, 2008 22 oz. Nice straw/gold amber color. Rogue "house flavor" most similar to brutal bitter definitely present. Enjoyed this piney/earthy/subtly herby brew very much and would undoubtedly drink again. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 8, 2008 Crushed with Jakebra. Kinda cool, kinda not. Lots of piney aroma and some hop presence. Not crazy about it, but enough character to it that it qualifies as kinda aight. HopBackDoc (395), Hatboro, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Sep 6, 2008 On tap at The Blue Dog in Chalfont. Yellow/’gold color with little head. Faint aroma of grass and malts. Flavor was mild hops and pale malts. A bit thin in the body. Not what I expected from Rogue. Chrism86 (292), Melbourne, Australia
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Sep 5, 2008 Pours hazy orange with little to no head. Aromas are quite austere, metallic with a hint of honey. Palate is more of the same with some floral hop presence coming into play all dimensions add to a relatively clean finish. Pleasant drink. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 3, 2008 Lightly coloured for a pale ale. Flavours are very mild but some backbone evident through the ’house’ hop structure. Marred by a metallic and skunky finish. cblado (150), Wisconsin, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 1, 2008 22 oz bomber. Poured a pale golden color, significant head on it too, with good lacing. Aroma was mostly citrus hops, some malt as well. Flavor was similar, with a distinct citrus taste but surprisingly little juniper flavor. I was disappointed that the only hint of juniper came at the end. Overall a good pale ale, but the juniper berries add very little.
