A bottle from from Asahiya for about 500 yen. A mildly carbonated pale ale, nice floral accents with a mild juniper berry taste. Very palatable.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Serving: 12 oz. bottle from State Line Liquors. It pours a nice gold color with a decent white head. The nose is on the light side with a slightly floral hop note. The flavor is surprisingly malty and devoid of much bitterness. Bready with a little light caramel and a hint of juniper. Medium bodied with average carbonation leading to a short to medium finish. Surprisingly mild flavor.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle pour of slightly hazy golden straw with a slightly off white head that disappears quickly. Aroma of sweet fruit, honey, pine, a hint of juniper and light malt. Taste of most of the same. Light body that has a finish that dries out and leaves a juniper aftertaste like a gin. Over all balance and interesting beer.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a clear deep golden colour with a small though long lasting. Aroma is fruity, Juniper berry/gin like notes, and biscuity malts. Flavour is fruity, Juniper/gin qualities(especially in the low-mid lingering bitterness), biscuits, and a touch of citrus(more so grapefruit)

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a clear golden straw color with a nice fluffy quickly dissipating white head. Aroma of sweet juniper berries, pale malts, slight gin and sweet fruity esters. Taste is sweet pale malts, lightly fruity and then finishes like a gin, sweet at first then dries out. Respectable easy drinking beer.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Only a hint of juniper, which if it were not on the label you would struggle to identify. Nice beer though, refreshing hop bitterness would make this great with food, even with some stronger meats like lamb or game?

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Plonk. Light golden, quite fruity/floral aroma, smells a bit like gin (I guess it would!), easy drinking, low-medium bitterness, sweetish, quite nice.

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
355mL bottle. Pours very pale golden with a small white head. Sadly the aroma is dominated by sunk with a slight hint of berry. The flavour is much better even though i can tell the sunk also effected it. A nice sweet berry jam like flavour which is balanced by a neat citrus bitterness (seems more than 34 IBU). Would love to try this beer fresh.
