Pours a slightly hazy gold with short lasting white head. Light malty aroma with some very light pine and herbal notes. Flavour is malty sweet with just enough bitter balance and a cleaner than expected finish for the fairly hefty body.

Bottle at home. Pours average white head, light amber color, fair lacing, medium body. Thin texture, average malty character, light to moderate bitterness. Not as complex as I would like it to be. First few sips leave a sour finish, but then bittersweet aftertaste takes over. An o.k. ale, but not as special.

355 ml. bottle @ home. Purchased from Caigny. BBF 11/2014. I really not to start looking at BBF dates before I buy beers. Pours a lightly hazy bright orange, little in the way of white head. Nose is unpleasant spoiled milk, rotting yeast, spoiled orange, fermenting lactic, unpleasant rotting yeast, not nice at all. Taste is thin, spoiled milky, ravaged by aged, lactic unpleasant yeast, rotting yeast, oily old orange peel, cabbage – quite a lot of it, vegetable, oily, faintly floral,… Thin, oily. Thin and ravaged by age but the base seem to be unpleasant as well. Touch watery. Sorry it has this old lactic yeast taste like a badly made Belgian. Age does play a part here for sure I cannot imagine this to be all that pleasant fresh. I would expect better from a craft brewery this big. Poured away almost all of it.

The beer starts smooth and crisp. Hints of herbs in the background, nice and bitter, not too floral. Hints of grain, hints of worth, but fresh and nice. The juniper is far in the background, the rest of the beer not too intense. Sad.

Classic beer. The aroma is one of the best. Good pale ale and I would consider it a world champion.

Golden colored beer with a very thin white head. Aroma: moderate? strawberry, honey. Taste mod. sweet, with a mod. bitter aftertaste. Watery texture, soft carbonation.
