Pours cloudy orange with a small off-white head. The aroma is lightly musty malt, light caramel and small hops. Medium - light body with some sharp carbonation. The taste starts with muddled malts, oxidized wet cardboard taste, spicy hops and an odd berry taste. The finish is spicy hops and dryness. Not very interesting at this state. This is obviously old, but since they didn’t put a date on a fairly fragile beer I will post the rating anyway. If I can get a known fresh bottle I will gladly re-rate.

bomber. this is a very attractive looking ale. it’s a unique orangey shade. it pours with a nice white head. malty backbone to the aroma with a fruity yeasty tone. it’s dry with some apricot but i’m having a hard time locating any juniper. flavor is weird and funky. i had expected a gin like taste but it’s not there. the beer is more earthy and does have a tinge of gin’s piney nature. finish is a little spicy. this is too much like rogue good on paper not as good in taste.

Pours an amber color with an off-white head. Aroma was herbal, citrus hops, and caramel. Flavor wasn’t as strong as I would like with evident citrus hops but not overbearing. Finishes slightly bitter but not quite as much as I like APA’s. Overall pretty good but there are better pale ale’s that I would prefer over this one.

on tap at issaquah brewery. faint jasmine & botanical aroma. malt and hops walk hand in hand in harmony. crisp finish, not too complex.

Pours slightly rusty with note of citrus and juniper. The notes of the fruit move into the palate along wiht the necessary spicness. There is a nice rounded bitterness at the end.

Bomber. Pours a slightly cloudy orange-copper with a short white head. Mild lemony citrus hop aroma with a hint of herbal/pepper background. Medium-bodied, a bit subdued carbonation for a pale. Refreshing citric taste with the juniper showing up mildly in the beginning. Decent smooth finish. What strange is that this could’ve used more in the hop department and Rogue usually hops everything like crazy. Overall, very drinkable, but nothing special.

Smells like your typical pale ale. Orange, with a slight gin aroma. I expected it to be more gin-smelling. Golden with a decent head that is disipating moderatrly. Laces very well. You can taste the hops, but not much more. I’m tasting bitter water. Not many other flavors. Slightly an alcohol flavor. A little thick for a pale ale. I don’t like the mouthfeel. Decent, wouldn’t buy it again.
