Had this one in its guise as Rogue Yellow Snow IPA, and it poured out a rocky two-fingered white head with some nice lacing at the end. The body was an orangey-looking thing, and it gave off a subdued aroma that might’ve had some hopping to it. Taste was much, much better with lots of hopped bitterness. Mouth and finish were good.

Really dry, tiny flavor of berries. Decently bitter, and certainly crisp. Great in six-pack for, if it comes that way. Tap at Yard House, Coral Gables.

This stuff looks amazing, one of the best looking beer’s I’v ever seen, rich golden body that was slightly cloudy, a good inch of thick white head, and tons of tiny bubbles floating to the top of the beer as I sit and stare at it. The aroma is fairly week consisting of a floral caramel and was slightly sour. Dam for a beer that looked so beautiful it sure taste like crap. This beer has a very very strong flavor that seems to be composed of caramel and V8 juice? It’s a very malty flavored beer with a ton of flowery perfumes in the taste, is that the juniper I’m tasting? I’m not sure what that’s suppose to taste like. The beer finishes with just a touch of hops. This brew felt very thin to me and left my mouth feeling very dry. I can tell this a very high quality beer and is very well crafted I just can’t stand the taste, I find my self forcing it down my throat and dreading the next sip. This is a phenomenal looking beer that in my opinion has one of the strongest most horrible flavors I’v ever come across.

Tap at Rogue Ales Public House in SF. Not bad, but a little bit of a letdown after downing their great Imperial Stout. Hell, I had to drive and I wanted to keep my BAC under .25 at least (just kidding, but I did have to drive). Very light and clear golden-yellow color with a medium white head. Aroma of grains and pale malt. Flavor is pale malt, grains, and some hints of gin/juniper. Medium-light bodied. Crisp and refreshing but not very much to it.

Had this a couple times, both when it was the old Yellow Snow and as the new Juniper. Pours out a hazy yellow with a weak white head. Aroma of light hops, juniper and some bread, Flavor much the same, mouth is a little muddled and too bready. Subpar.

This beer was not my favorite, I have come to expect the best from Rogue. I don’t know if it was the style or the beer itself that I wasn’t to keen on. It pours a yellow color not much hop aroma not much malt lavor taste is a bit soapy with a strange little twang I can only assume is from the juniper. Dry and crisp, there is a curious little numbness that occurs around the inside of the mouth starts mostly in the cheeks and travels slightly throughout, I guess it must be due to the juniper, resembling slightly the astringent character of a dry gin. I would reccomend trying this beer as it is different but more just to try probably wouldn’t have it again.

Pours hazy yellow with a thick white head. Aroma is very floral and hoppy. Smells like a summer beer. Thed flavour is very interesting full and bold with a great juniper berry after taste. It is very dry and smooth this is one of the most interesting beers I have ever had. It is so sharp and herbal tasting. This is deffinatly a Gin drinkers beer. and being that I am a Gin fan I think this stuff is great!

Light hoppy aroma and taste. I didn’t really detect any juniper. I was interested to see how this beer would be, but I’ve got to say that this is probably one of Rogue’s worst beers, next to the Chipotle Ale. LC
