3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draught - Pours out yellow with a hint of orange. Like most Rogue beers head is modest. Lighter aroma than I was expecting and rather floral. Quite a sweet beer and with not much in the way of hops. I was expecting a brutal bitter with some tree in it. Having cut down juniper and know what they smell like first hand I must say I would never guess that there was juniper in here if it was not on the label. Not a bad session beer but not what I was hoping for.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a slightly hazy gold with short lasting white head. Light malty aroma with some very light pine and herbal notes. Flavour is malty sweet with just enough bitter balance and a cleaner than expected finish for the fairly hefty body.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle at home. Pours average white head, light amber color, fair lacing, medium body. Thin texture, average malty character, light to moderate bitterness. Not as complex as I would like it to be. First few sips leave a sour finish, but then bittersweet aftertaste takes over. An o.k. ale, but not as special.
