Clear medium orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, berry, spicy - juniper. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Very mild and good balanced beer. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20090112]

A hazy orange beer with a huge white head. The aroma is of sulphur and stearin. The flavor is malty with notes of oranges and hops leading to a dry end.

22 fl oz bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a huge white head. Mild spiced and slight pepperish fruity hops aroma. Bitter and malty flavoured with a light spice note. Caramel and bitter in a good mix into the finish. Quite dry.

(Bottle 65 cl) Slightly hazy, amber golden with an off-white head. Fresh, spicy aroma - and some overripe fruit. Medium body with accents of overripe fruit - perhaps slightly oxidized. I don’t detect much juniper realy. Dry and bitter - distinctly bitter - finish, perhaps the juniper is finally showing. 290407

UPDATED: OCT 4, 2005 Bottled. Clear amber, brief head. Citric nose. Medium sweet with clean mouthfeel and spicy bitter finish. Didn’t get any of the juniper berries at all.

Sweet flavour of malts, caramel, hops and pine needles.

Draught @ Brewer’s on the Bay, Newport, OR. Pours a pale yellow color with a small white head. Sweet malty bready spicy aroma with some hoppy hints. Sweetish malty slightly spicy juniper flavor. Has a sweetish malty finish.

Botttle from VinensVerden, Odense. Cloudy gold with a creamy white head. Nose is moderate hoppy and malty. Floral and citrussy. Medium bodied. Crisp and dry. Well made though regular and perhaps boring.

Hazy deep blond color, small head. Mild aroma of malt an oranges. Dryish mouthfeel, dry malt and caramel flavor, it has a light spicy and herbal touch, good bitterness level, increasing in the end.
Not necessarily juniper forward, but lightly herbal; and a solid Ale nevertheless.

Cloudy deep blond color; small head. Nice aroma of malt, vanilla, hops, maybe juniper too. Lean body structure, dry toffee flavor, hidden by a powerful bitterness, with herbal and juniper traces. The final is too bitter. Imprecise, confusing, but it can be still pleasant, at least before the final…
