Poured a beautiful Bright Golden color with a tight 2 finger head and some decent lacing. The aroma was faint but nice with a hint of spice, hops adn malt all balanced but far from overdone or in your face. Taste was also subtle and that was not what i was expecting. Slight spice from the Juniper, light on th ebitterness but it was there. the malts were very well balanced with the bitterness and slight sweetness. Refreshing and light to medium bodied. Overall I really liked this beer much more than I was expecting.

This is an speciality ale so it is worthless to compare it with a classical style like a pale ale. It looks like a golden ale or blonde, it has a good head retention, malty, sweet-floral aroma and flavor, subtle sweet and biscuit, medium low in body. The juniper berries give it an special aroma an flavor, definitively will drink it again.

Bottle from Erzbierschof - Hazy pale yellow color with a beautiful fully lasting white head, beautiful lacing - Aroma is malty, biscuit, spicy, earthy - flavor is malty, spicy, indescribable hops flavor - light body, light/medium bitterness, good carbonation, light dryness, malty finish - surprisingly not bad, refreshing

Caña en el lúpulo en 30-03-2013. ligera y fácil de beber con un alcohol de 5.2. Buen paso por boca y fácil de beber con aromas y sabores herbáceos y ligeramente amargos. Para repetir.

Bottle in Rosa Mexicana NYC. A hazy goldenish colour, thin head. Mostly a moderately hoopy pale ale, with an extra slightly spicy feel which I suppose must be the juniper berries although I don’t think I’d have guessed that. Pleasant, went ok with the food actually as well.

22 oz bottle. I’ve had a lot of rogue, but this one was a bit of a disappointment. A lot of it may have to do with the fact that pale ales have never been close to my favorite style. Very funky aroma. Not a whole lot of flavor with a bitter, odd after flavor. I’m gonna go with the overall statement that this beer just isn’t for me. Not the worst I’ve had though.

355ml bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours light hazy golden yellow, thin white head. Aromas are light spice, light citrus. Not a lot else on the taste, pepper maybe. Decent and drinkable, but nothing special.

Bottle @James Brewing night. Pours hazy and golden slight nose a wee bit of spice. Taste is nice but again not over powering, not a lot of juniper. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pale amber, light haze and light filmy head. Nose has a real earthy, dehydrated pissyness - sweet maltiness underneath. Creamy and peppery, with decent enough carbonation. Initial taste of gnarling soapy hops, flapping bitterness and flush malt. An oddly sweet bitterness forges with the malt but the finish is dirty floral and probably the juniper - although not fully formed it adds an intriguing element.
Very oddly balanced, but decent and attention grabbing enough. Princely in places.

Bottle, Appellation Wine, Edinburgh
