330ml. Lager gold with a slim white collar. Biscuit, apricot, sweet buttery malt and slightly saline aroma putting me in mind of Scotland. Taste same with cream and apricot; zero juniper, shortbread, salt and honey. Decent like a buttery English/Scottish lager but not remotely junipery.

355ml bottle, shared with a friend. Pours a hazy gold with a thin lasting white head. Aroma of grass, caramel and flowers. Light sweetness with a medium bitterness, which is reminiscent of the sharpness of gin. Quite dry and refreshing, and fairly smooth. A little astringent on the finish, which leaves it resting a little bit rough on the palate. Pretty interesting offering, but nowhere near Rogue’s best.

pours a golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is of citrus, sweet malts, herbs, pine, ans some light juniper. Taste is citrus, herbs, juniper, pie, and sweet malts. Has a medium body with a slightly watery mouthfeel and a slightly bitter, moderately short finish. Overall, a decently tasting, and pretty interesting pale ale.

12oz bottle from Spirits Berkley. Appearance was easily the best thing about this beer. Poured watery bright orange with an average sized bright white foamy head. Aroma is super weak, wet toast, some old grassy hops, perhaps a very slight berry note. Watery mouthfeel with average carbonation and a quick fading aftertaste. Flavor is grainy cereal, grassy hops, slight citrus rind. Blah this is to plain.

Pleasant to drink,but a little too light for my liking. If it didn’t mention juniper I wouldn’t have picked (but then I am crap at flavours!)

The juniper isn’t really noticeable until the swallow and the finish. If they put a bit more juniper in, it would be an interesting beer but would probably wreck your palate for the rest of the night. They erred on the side of caution here, and that was probably a good thing.

Cloudy yellow with a small, off-white head.
Aroma is citrus, pine, grapefruit peel.
Taste is tangy citrus, juniper berry bitter.

Botella at Kempy´s Bar in Hiroshima from the owner, Prakash. Thanks matey. Cloudy golden, nice white head. Pleasant fruity citrus aroma with juniper. Good mouthfeel. Flavour: fruity citrus hops with juniper and some spice to it too. Nice pleasant medium bitterness.

Bouteille 650ml. De couleur dorée-orangée et très légèrement voilée. Nez de grains de malt sucrés, moyen de houblon floral et herbeux aux petites notes résineuses, légèrement fruité (agrumes, notes de baies) avec des traces de miel. Moyennement ronde en bouche avec un pétillement moyen ainsi qu’une texture aux petites notes crémeuses. Goût légèrement amer de houblon floral (une amertume présente en arrière-goût toute la gorgée) accompagné d’un léger goût fruité (agrumes, traces de baies) lors de l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute un goût de grains de céréales sucrées aux faibles traces grillées avec des notes de miel ainsi que des traces de biscuits et de caramel puis en finale l’amertume se fait légèrement herbeuse et aux petites notes résineuses. Post-goût moyen, légèrement amer de houblon floral, légèrement herbeux et aux faibles traces résineuses avec des notes fruitées (zeste d’agrumes).
