madquacker (706), Canberra ACT, Australia Nov 2, 2009 Lurid yellow colour with low carbonation. Abit flat and poor corn flavours. Like sarsperilla with a lot of spitziness. Nothing great here. mkel07 (494), Brisbane, Australia Oct 17, 2009 650ml bottle. Clean, crisp and clear. Honey colour with a nice soft white head and aromas of malt and green apple. Light and crisp in the mouth with a slight tart bitterness at the end. kenb (1100), Oregon, USA Oct 17, 2009 22oz bottle via hagen. Pours a semi hazy amber with an average white head. Nose is malted grains and a bit spicy. Taste is grainy, a bit herbal with some grassy semi spicy hoppiness in the finish. A bit of lemon/lime in the end as well. Body is light and carbonation is a bit high. Seems like an american take on a Pilsner. Not bad. thirdeye11 (403), Texas, USA Oct 11, 2009 ( 22oz bomber thanks to Cavie) Pours very pale yellow. Nose of crisp malt, honey. Taste is crisp lager-like hops, nicely sweet. It’s over carbonated with a dry finish. Pretty drinkable though. bu11zeye (5430), Frisco, Texas, USA Oct 10, 2009 ( 22oz bottle, provided by Cavie ) Pours a clear yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of corn husks, grass, and straw. Flavor of grass, corn, and light citrus with a watery mouthfeel. Blah… curly (548), Nashville, Tennessee, USA Oct 5, 2009 Sampled at the 8th Annual Music City Brewer’s Festival. Pours clear yellow with a frothy white head. Aroma is grain and yeast spice. Taste is grass, yeast, lemon and is pretty underwhelming, but hey, it’s a lager. Clean crisp and refreshing at least. beerfest5 (128), Simsbury, Connecticut, USA Oct 2, 2009 very dissapointing from a brewer that is usually pretty good. nothing distinctive, some citrus hoppiness but not enough, too carbonated, would think this came from a macro trying to do a micro. CitizenZ (18), Kansas, USA Sep 19, 2009 Straw yellow, pours with minimal head an no lacing. Smells like citrus, not particularly wonderful. Chunky carbonation, not aggressive but a dominant characteristic. Very mild hoppiness with strong citrus tones and a finish that is reminiscent of a dry cider, but with less kick. Easy to drink, not a strong or flavorful beer. If it were cheap, I’d rate it higher, but at $5+ per 22 oz bottle, there are better beers out there.
