| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Nov 20, 2008 Pours a lite golden color with a bit of white head that disappears almost immediately with no retention or lacing.
Smell is of straw and very little else.
Taste is hard to get a handle on. Bits of straw with a bit of a floral tinge. A great deal of carbonated water.
Mouthfeel is very light and watery. Not much substance to speak of.
This one is pretty easy to put down, but doesn’t have much to speak of overall. Worth a shot, but not quite worth the $4.50.

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 31, 2008 Pours a pale yellow with a tightly beaded tall head. Lively carbonation. Aroma is sweet but has a weird twinge that I can’t put my finger on. Mouthfeel is surprisingly robust for the appearance, but it is a rather light-bodied beer. Bready and yeast flavors, otherwise not a whole lot. Faint hop presence. Sweetish. An okay, drinkable beer. Really not great, but pretty good for a pale lager-type of beer. yobdoog (1431), Woodridge NY, New York, USA
