BeerFanDan17 (610), Land O Lakes, Florida, USA Sep 19, 2008 Sampled at Lowry Park Wazoo in August 2008. Pretty good. Nice yeasty pilsner. Good body. faroeviking (6016), Republica Vikingo de las, Faroe Islands Sep 9, 2008 Botella. Bit unclear golden. Sweet honey aroma with some orange. Good mouthfeel. Sweet fruity orange honey flavour with a mild pleasant bitterness. fordest (1954), Santee/San Diego, California, USA Sep 8, 2008 22 oz bottle. Not much on the aromas. Some macro like aromas. Flavor was about the same. Some malty yeast, but not much hopping. Just OK yespr (11613), Copenhagen O, Denmark Sep 7, 2008 22 fl oz bottle. Pours slight cloudy yellow with a lacing white head. Mild spiced and light orange fruity to acidic nose. Mild citrusy sweet with a mild fruity accent. Lingering hoppy finish yet mild. Light citrusy finish. Chrism86 (273), Melbourne, Australia Sep 5, 2008 Pours lemon honey body with substantial white head. Aromas are subdued, hinting honey and bready notes. Palate has more of the same, good balance with super clean finish. Stew41 (1040), Caulfield, Australia Sep 3, 2008 Updated: Sep 14, 2009A strange fruity tang drives this beer but it works really well. Old worldy malts kick in late. Bubbly dry finish along with a faint sweet malt kick. Very unremarkable but as with all Rogue beers well made with a certain level of appeal. Definately good for the genre. rayOfBeer (316), El Cerrito, California, USA Aug 29, 2008 Poured from bottle a clear blonde with large white head and good carbonation. Aroma is hay, malt and lightly toasted grain. Flavor is bisquit, hay, toasted bread and grain with a gentle sweetness that ends dry and mildly bitter. I enjoyed this one even though I had it after a super hoppy IPA or maybe because of that. Anyhow, decent flavors, a nice not too heavy body and smooth finish. thill25 (216), Orlando, Florida, USA Aug 15, 2008 Draft at GOBF ’08...pours yellowish amber w/ a fluffy white head. The aroma has some citrus hints alon with earthy hops, and some grains. The flavor was sweet mix of the aromas. Palate was mediuum bodied with a lingering bitter finish. I was "eh" about this beer.
