Straw yellow, pours with minimal head an no lacing. Smells like citrus, not particularly wonderful. Chunky carbonation, not aggressive but a dominant characteristic. Very mild hoppiness with strong citrus tones and a finish that is reminiscent of a dry cider, but with less kick. Easy to drink, not a strong or flavorful beer. If it were cheap, I’d rate it higher, but at $5+ per 22 oz bottle, there are better beers out there.

Bottle from Cavie. Pours with a pale body and a white head. Aroma of light struck skunkyness, butter, corn and grass. Taste is corn, thin, bland and bad. Dry, fizzy and thin.

Clear yellow pour. Skunky smell. Not good or appetizing. Taste is bland and even but has nothing to speak of for flavor. Bleh.

650 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a clear yellow gold with moderate white head. Mildly hoppy nose with grass notes and slight biscuitiness. Flavour is somewhat sweet, grassy and biscuity. Body on the light side of medium. Simple, alright lager.

Pours yellow with a faint gold tint and a 3 finger chunky white head that fades to a thick skim pretty quickly but holds there. Aroma is grassy, lager yeast, mild doughey bread, some lemon and a little toasty biscuit. Flavor is grassy hops, light toast, mineral water, english muffin, a hint of apple and some floral notes. Palate is light to medium bodied with a nicely creamy texture without being slicka nd still having a dry feel throughout, palate is probably the best part about this beer to me. Good stuff, not great, but if it were priced accordingly this might get my bucks over SABL when I am in the mood for a middle of the road lager.

Aroma is pleasant enough, but weak. Not a lot to go by. There is a pleasant enough hint of lager malt, with a hint of lemon. Appearance is a surprising puffy white head. Glowing golden color. Clear but not flat. The flavor is a bitter bite of German malt, with a slightly flowery hop. Grassy and with a hint of lemon. Feels creamy and bubbly. Not watery lager by any stretch. A very good lager for style. Has some Euro zing to it. A really solid lager.
